"Don't baby them," she replied and continued eating.

"Well, you heard her, ladies," I chuckled.

"Stingy!" Amber frowned.

"Big sis is an ultra meanie," Ruby sighed.

"Maybe you girls should bring your love interests next time," Mariam said.

"Yeah, I will," Ruby said with confidence, “Just watch, big sis. I'll get a man that'll make you jealous."

"Can't wait," Crystal smirked.

"So, what do you like about Crystal?" Hannah asked.

"Well, she taught me how to ride a bike," I replied.

"Wait, you don't know how to ride a bike?" Hannah was surprised.

They all were.

"It's embarrassing, but yes, I didn't know how to ride a bike," I admitted, "But being with Crystal has been a real eye-opener. You see, I was on a path of ruin, but she forcefully gave me an eye-opener, humiliating me in the process. My empty life has never been fuller since I met her."

They were quiet.

"Damn, sis set a high hurdle for the rest of us," Ruby said as she poked at her meal with a fork.

"She's red as a tomato now," Amber said.

"Shut up, both of you," Crystal said as she stared at her thighs.

I could see how red her cheeks had gotten.

"Well, I just hope the path you two are on together right now will lead to a proper fruition." Mariam said as she raised a glass, "To a fruitful end for all of us."

"A fruitful end for all of us," we raised our glasses.

It was a pleasant evening and a pleasant meal.

"Adam, I have to tell you something," Crystal whispered. We had just had dinner and everyone was occupied in one way or the other. She pulled me to the living room. It seemed like a good time to tell her my feelings as well.

"Same here. I…"

"Can I borrow Adam for a bit?" Hannah asked with a smile.

"But we…" Crystal started to say but looked away and sighed, "Fine."

"I'll be right back. I promise," I said as I got to my feet and followed Hannah.

We went into a guest room.

As soon as we were inside, she crossed her arms and glared daggers at me.

"I promise to say the truth and nothing but the truth," I raised my right hand.

"You…" she rubbed her eyelids in frustration, "What are you doing with Crystal?"

"Hannah, I can explain. It's not what you think," I replied.
