"You're welcome, sweetie," I smirked.

"God give me strength," he shook his head before giving me my kiss, a reward for my hard work.

I collapsed onto the bed …exhausted.

"You okay?" Sarah asked as she kissed my head.

"Yeah, I am," I sighed, "Adam is such a wimp when it comes to his wife giving birth.”

"Did it go well?" she asked.

"Yes. Her plan to surprise him with twins worked," I replied.

"I'm so happy for them," she said with a warm smile.

"They'll be happy for us too," I said as I touched her stomach. Her beautiful bump stood out.

It was our second IVF try.

After the first time didn’t work, she couldn’t sleep or eat properly from thinking that she had failed us both.

But here she was…four months in.

"What if…what if I fail again?" She asked.

"Adam already said this won't fail," I replied, “He was also heavily involved in the planning and prep, along with myself and Crystal. You can't fail."

"Okay," she said as she wiped a tear, "okay."

"Good," I smiled and kissed the bump.
