I turned to him and smiled. “A little. I’ve never been on a private jet before.”
“Don’t worry,” he said, his tone reassuring. “You’ll love it. It’s much more comfortable than flying commercially.”
“I’m sure it is,” I replied, still feeling a little overwhelmed.
When we pulled up to the private terminal, I couldn’t help but gawk at the sleek white plane waiting for us. A uniformed attendant greeted us and showed us to our seats.
The interior of the plane was even more luxurious than I could have imagined, with plush leather seats, a fully stocked bar, and even a bedroom. I felt like I was in a movie.
“This is amazing,” I said, unable to hide my amazement.
Spencer grinned at me. “I’m glad you like it.”
As the plane took off and I leaned back in my seat, the flight attendant approached us with a tray of champagne flutes. Spencer raised his glass, a mischievous glint in his eye. “To new adventures,” he said, clinking his glass against mine.
I took a sip of the bubbles, feeling their effervescence tickle my nose, and gazed at Spencer, who was watching me with a look of pure adoration. It was hard not to feel grateful for this moment; for this man by my side.
As the flight continued, a delicious meal was served, and I savored every bite. The conversation flowed easily, making me laugh more than I had in a long time.
After we finished our meal, Spencer suggested we take a little “nap” in the plane’s bedroom. I raised an eyebrow, wondering if this was going to be our mile-high club moment. But Spencer simply took my hand and led me to the back of the plane, where the cozy bedroom awaited.
I lay down on the bed, feeling the softness of the sheets and the gentle rocking of the plane as it flew through the evening. Spencer lay down beside me, and as I drifted off to sleep, it was impossible not to think how lucky I was to be here.

When we toucheddown in London early on a Saturday morning, a sleek car awaited us at the private terminal at Heathrow. The driver was on hand to whisk us away to Spencer’s luxurious apartment in the heart of the city.
As the driver navigated the bustling streets of London, the vibrant sights and sounds of the city captivated me. I was in awe of the historic buildings, busy street markets, and the hustle and bustle of everyday life. And, all the while, Spencer was by my side, pointing out all the sights and sharing stories about his life in the city.
When we arrived at Spencer’s apartment, its elegance and sophistication struck me. The spacious living room was filled with natural light and furnished with plush sofas and modern art. The open kitchen was a chef’s dream, with gleaming countertops and state-of-the-art appliances.
As we settled in, Spencer showed me around the apartment, pointing out all of his favorite features. He even took me up to the rooftop terrace, where we enjoyed a stunning view of the city.
“This is incredible,” I said, taking in the view. “I feel like I’m on top of the world.”
Spencer smiled and wrapped his arm around me. “I’ve arranged for lunch to be delivered from the hotel next door,” he informed me. “It should arrive shortly. After we’ve eaten, I have a meeting with the theater owners to go over the renovation progress. It won’t take long, but I had the maid make the bedroom ready for you if you’d like to take a nap? We have a long evening with my parents ahead of us tonight.”
I nodded, feeling a bit overwhelmed by the excitement and anticipation of the day. After a satisfying lunch, Spencer bid me farewell, and I retreated to the main bedroom, relishing the tranquil and serene surroundings. I was eager to embrace the peace and make the most of this idyllic space.

“Hey there, sleepyhead,”Spencer grinned as he walked into the bedroom, waking me from my nap.
“Oh, hi,” I rubbed my eyes, feeling a bit disoriented.
“I’ve got something for you,” he said, handing me a small, elegant box. “I know we haven’t been together long, but when I saw this, I thought of you.”
I opened the box to reveal a delicate gold bracelet with an infinity symbol, similar to the one on my necklace. It even had a diamond in the center.
“It’s beautiful,” I said, admiring the delicate gem. “It goes perfectly with my necklace. I’m speechless.”
Spencer beamed with pride. “Excellent, because I wanted to take your breath away,” Spencer chuckled in his signature charming manner, and kissed me before he fastened the bracelet around my wrist, his fingers manipulating the clasp with surprising dexterity.
“So, how did the meeting about the theater renovation go?” I asked, tearing my gaze away from the beautiful bracelet to admire Spencer.
“It was good,” Spencer replied, his eyes shining with excitement. “The owners are determined to spare no expense to make the theater truly magnificent. I’m eager to see the finished product and relaunch the production.” He leaned in and gave me a kiss before helping me out of bed. “But let’s not talk about work now. We have a big night ahead of us with my parents. Let’s get ready.”
As I stood in front of the bathroom mirror, I couldn’t help but feel a twinge of sadness. Despite all our hard work and dedication, I knew that our Broadway production would never hold the same place in Spencer’s heart as his first West End show. But I pushed the thought aside, determined to enjoy this special evening for what it was. I had planned my outfit carefully, choosing a sleek black dress from Carson’s collection that accentuated my curves and complemented my braided updo. A pair of understated heels and a new bracelet completed the look, and I felt confident and elegant as I stepped out of the bathroom to join Spencer.
