She goes still.

Guilty.

“I’m sorry, Kylie. I had to tell Leo. I won’t lie to him,” Amber interjects, moving closer.

Kylie turns her attention from me to Amber. “Tell him what?”

“That you were mad and drunk last night. You said you should fuck Nash and show Leo how it feels since you thought he cheated on you with Beth. I tried to tell you he wouldn’t do that, but you wouldn’t listen. Then you came upstairs to Nash’s room. I heard you both. You weren’t quiet.”

Kylie appears to be genuinely confused. “I would never say that. I’ll admit I was mad, hurt, and angry, but I would never do that.”

Liar. Nothing but a sheet is hiding her naked body, and she expects me to believe her?

Hell, she just got out of Nash’s bed.

“So tell me what happened. Because it sure as hell looks like you had sex with him,” I yell.

“Last night is a little fuzzy for me, but I don’t think I could ever be drunk enough to cheat on you.” She shakes her head. “No, I couldn’t.”

Amber has no reason to lie to me, and considering how they’re dressed, I know what Amber said is the truth. Kylie rearranging the sheet to cover up her nudity proves it.

What other reason could there be for her being in Nash’s room with no clothes?

Nash breaks in. “You really believe I would do that to you? Fuck you, Leo. I’m in love with your sister. I don’t want anyone but her.”

Sophie takes in another gasp.

In love with my sister? What the fuck? Has he been after my sister all this time and lying to me?

Fuck him.

He needs to leave before I beat the ever-loving shit out of him.

“Fuck this shit. I’m out of here.” Nash steps out from behind Kylie and goes to leave. When he gets to me, I try to attack him again.

Unfortunately, Kylie keeps moving between us, and I can’t risk hitting her to get to him. As pissed as I am with her for fucking my friend, I won’t risk hurting her physically.

My eyes follow Nash’s path, and when he gets close to my sister, he puts out his hand. She glares at him and shakes her head.

“Don’t ever come near me again,” she hisses. My sister has never sounded so angry. He stares at her for a few moments before he senses she means it because he picks up his keys off the dresser and his shorts from the floor, and with one final glance in Sophie’s direction, he leaves.

“Sophie, you need to go after him. He came here because he wants to be with you,” Kylie tells her.

Sophie slowly glides up to face Kylie head-on. “I trusted you, Kylie. You had me fooled, and you purposely hurt my brother. I can’t believe I came here with Leo to help convince you how much he loves you and that you must forgive him for not telling you about Beth. He didn’t tell you because he was scared to lose you. Then we come here and see what a pathetic bitch you really are. Stay the fuck away from my brother and stay the hell away from me,” she yells and pushes Kylie.

I grab Sophie around the waist and carry her to the door, putting a safe distance between her and Kylie. Sure, Sophie is right, but I won’t allow her to go after Kylie again.

She storms out, Amber following her.

Kylie is fixing the sheet around her body with tears streaming down her face.

Let her cry.

I’m done.

“I thought you were different. I believed your innocent act. How many guys have you pulled that stunt with, Kylie? I can’t be the first,” I snap at her.

Amber told me she heard these stories about Kylie and, like a fool, I didn’t believe it.
