I swear I came a little at their possessiveness, it drives me crazy. “Yes, only yours.”

I lick my lips, kissing them both one last time before I break away from them, unlocking the door. “Clean the table for me, would ya?” I wink and step out before they can touch me again.

Erin is wearing headphones just eating her food without a care in the world. I can’t help but laugh. I think we are all a little crazy. I know I am. I have sex like three times a day and it’s still not enough.

She sees me and takes off her headphones. “Well you look like a new girl,” she jokes, drinking her coffee.

“Sometimes alone time is needed.” I wink and sit down beside her. “You know there is a sex store right down the road if you want me to go with you and get some supplies.”

“Ohh that’s a fantastic idea. Can we go after work?” she suggests.

“Deal.” I hug her and walk back into my office to see the guys. “I’ll see you guys later.” I hug them one last time, before I go to my therapy room. I have a new client that I need to prepare for.

I look back at them before I shut the door, I’m literally obsessed with them. I can think of worse habits to have.

I sit down and turn on some soft, calming music; I hate complete silence.

I look at the name on my iPad before my new client walks in.

Erin walks into my office, notifying me my new client is here. “Your next appointment is here. Should I send them back?”

“Yes, please.” I look at the name on my iPad before they walk in.

The girl that enters my therapy room isn’t Renee, it’s Opal.

CHAPTER 16

SUMMER

Shocked isn’t a good enough word for how I’m feeling right now. She walks in and sits down in front of me like she is my client, like she didn’t lie about her name in the first place.

“Opal?” I start.

She holds her hand out, halting me from speaking any further. “I’m not Opal, I’m Renee, I’m here for my session.” She smiles at me, but it doesn’t reach her eyes.

How did she even get here from Alabama in the first place? “I have been very depressed. At first when I got home, I was totally fine and okay but then I got the most devastating news.” Her eyes turn wild.

“I lost someone I care about a lot and I knew I needed to see you. I knew you would make it all better, Summer,” she says incoherently.

Her head falls, shaking side to side like she is fighting the thoughts in her head. “I just don’t know what to do, Summer. I’m so lost!” She screams the last part, her fists clenched.

She is mentally unstable right now, she must have run away from her family. I am shocked that she is here at all, in a whole different state.

“Op...” I stop talking when her eyes flash to mine angrily. “My name is not Opal,” she corrects me.

“I’m sorry about that, Renee; it was an old habit,” I reassure her, she nods to herself. “Yes, it’s fine, Summer. I’m glad you understand.”

I stand up. “Do you mind if I step out of the room for a few minutes?” I ask her, opening the door.

“That’s fine.” She cracks her neck and hands looking around the room.

I walk to the front desk toward Erin. “Erin, you need to call the guys back here now. She is not mentally okay right now. I need you to call this number and when you get ahold of them, bring the phone straight here.” I write down Opal’s parents’ number.

I look inside the door to check on her and she is looking around the room frantically at every little thing.

I don’t want to be in a room alone with her. “Renee, do you mind if we sit out here in the waiting room? There’s a TV here.” I wave for Erin to go hide in my office to make the calls.

Opal hops up and plops down in one of the chairs. She finds Criminal Minds on the TV. “I love these shows.” She props her elbow on the chair arm, kicking her legs up on the table, getting comfortable.
