I smiled wide. “They did?”
“Yes. I apparently have a lot to learn about relationships and keeping my woman happy.” He pulled me into his embrace. “And respecting her.”
“You’re lucky your woman is patient and forgiving.”
“I don’t deserve you.”
“Yes, you do. We’re perfect for each other.”
“Yes, we are.” He kissed my head.
“So when you saywehave to discuss Libby’s offer, any chance the old ladies will be included?” I smirked and fluttered my eyelashes.
“Um, that’s up to Storm.”
“Maybe you can talk some sense into him like they talked some into you.”
“Maybe.” A panty-melting grin appeared on his handsome face.
“I’m sorry for earlier. It was foolish of me to suggest going to Dorian.” I scooted closer to him. “I wasn’t thinking about the baby or what Dorian would do to me. My only concern was Raymond.”
“It’s okay, Bonita. We’re going to get through this, and we’re going to have a beautiful life together.” He took the gold wedding band out of his pocket. “Will you take the ring back? I’ll propose again if you want.”
“Yes, I’ll take the ring back. I should’ve never taken it off.” My heart fluttered as he looked at me with adoration in his dark depths.
“I love you, Bonita.” He slid the band on my finger and kissed it. “I promise we’ll find that fucker and bring Raymond home.”
“I believe you.” I looped my arms around his neck and pressed a kiss on his lips. “I love you with all my heart and trust you.” He had proven he would do anything to protect me, and I believed he and his club would find our brother.

“The package was delivered.” Coby strode toward me with an expectant expression.
“Why do you look happy?” I studied the spreadsheets on my monitor to keep my mind off Brynne. She would be furious with me when she saw the video. Revealing the boy may have been in poor taste, but I needed leverage. My sweet girl had a compassionate heart. After seeing her half brother gagged, she would want to do anything to save him.
“Today is the day I meet my bride.”
I hiked an eyebrow. “I said maybe.”
“No.” He laid his hands flat on my desk and leaned toward me. “You said today, brother.”
I reclined in my leather executive chair. “Coby, what do you want to know about the girl?”
He hissed as he sat across from me. “Don’t fuck with me, brother. Or I’ll ruin your plans.”
My right eye twitched. “Don’t threaten me.”
“It’s not a threat. I can destroy your chances of marrying Brynne with one phone call.”
“You selfish brat!” I reached toward my desk drawer that held my gun.
Coby pulled his weapon faster and aimed at my head. “I knew you’d try to kill me just like—”
“I didn’t kill him.” I sat back in my chair and steepled my hands against my chest. Coby had obviously taken my handgun out of the drawer when I was out of town dealing with the boy.
“Liar,” he growled.
