Melina’s breath hitched, and she looked at the other items in the drawer.

“These”—the handcuffs clinked as I held them up—“make it so you can’t touch me, but I can touch you. You may want to run your hands through my hair and body, but the anticipation of you wanting to touch me will mean much more when you can. This crop is to be used for touching you, tickling you, and maybe a light smack or two.”

Melina released a breath and rubbed her thighs together.

“We don’t even have to use these things!” I threw the things back in the drawer and slammed it shut. “I just want you, and you only. I don’t need them to make me want you. It is just a way to play, that’s all,” I pleaded.

“So, you aren’t forcing me to stay or try to hurt me or take anything away from me?” She sniffed as my heart clenched.

“Darling, I would never,” I pleaded.

Putting those there was a dangerous move, but I had little time to move things around before she arrived. Fuck, I was dumb. She was so innocent when it came to intimacy, and here I was, holding things in my drawer, making her think I would hurt her.

“I swear to you, baby, I would never. Please, can I hold you? It’s killing me seeing you like this.”

Melina nodded, and I rushed to her side, kissing her forehead.

“I’m sorry, darling. I should have moved all of that out of here.” I continued to pepper her face with kisses, and she finally started laughing.

“You fae people are crazy.” She laughed. “Maybe after a while, once I’m comfortable with other things, if we progress, we could try it.”

“Are you sure, darling?” I answered seductively, nipping at her ear. Hell, we were going to progress. I could promise that.

“Yes,” she whispered as she leaned into me.

Chapter Twenty-One

Melina

“Areyousure, darling?”he whispered in my ear while pulling it with his teeth. The shivers running down my spine reached my toes. My body instantly leaned into Osirus’s. I was so mad at him earlier. How can my body betray me and forgive him so easily?

“The bond is making you forgive me more easily,” he whispered. His hands rubbed up and down my arms as he swayed, dancing to our own song.

“How do you do that?” I nuzzled into his chest.

“I can feel your aura. I can see how you feel. Every living thing projects colors. Not all fae can read into auras, but I can.” Osirus kissed down my neck, and instinctively, I leaned my head to the side to grant him more space. “I can tell when you are sad.” He nipped my neck. “When you are happy.” His nose nuzzled into the crook of my neck. “I can feel the apprehension you have for me in your heart.” Osirus sucked on the sweet spot he found a day ago, and I let out a breathy moan. “I can also read how your body wants mine.”

My eyes grew large, and my face flushed. Osirus chuckled against me.

“It’s all right, I love it. I love that you have a desire for me like I do you.” His hands that were tracing my arms lowered to my waist and lifted my shirt, so his thumbs were grazing my hips. I looked up at him. His eyes were black. Leaning down, he captured my lips again and lifted me up so my legs wrapped around his waist.

“Do you see how your body responds to mine?”

I hummed while his tongue dove into my mouth. He leaned me against the wall, and his kiss deepened as his hands started to wander. As I pulled on his hair, small grunts and purrs left his mouth and chest. I wanted more than his mouth. I wanted to kiss his neck as he did mine.

Ripping away and with a reluctant growl, I kissed down his jaw, letting him know I wasn’t done. His member rubbed my core, and the small little rubs and grinding got me instantly wet. My breath hitched as I sucked his neck.

“Darling, shit.”

I left little love bites down his neck just as he did to my chest. I looked at my work and started giggling.

“Something funny, darling?” he playfully growled.

“No.” I giggled more. This was fun.

Osirus reached under my skirt, playing with my lacy white panties, and moved them to the side. His hand was absent for a moment until I felt a large smack that hit just below my butt cheek. I squeaked and gripped his jacket.

“Are you sure there is nothing funny?” His eyebrows raised in mischief as I continued to shake my head.
