“Ryker is gonna be pissed as shit when he sees the back of his truck,” Austyn said.
“Austyn,” Princess said sharply. “We’re slowing down. Get prepared. Sides sandwich him in.”
Please, Lord, make this work.

INDIE
What in thehell was happening out there? The car was being jostled around and pushed from side to side, the sound of metal hurting my ears.
Each movement made me lose my balance and tumble from here to there in the confined space.
The car stopped suddenly, and I crashed hard in the trunk. A groan left me.
We didn’t stop, though. Instead, there were ear-splitting sounds that had my hands going to my ears. Which was stupid considering my hands were all I had to balance with.
This caused me to tumble to the other end of the trunk where it would open in normal circumstances.
I felt like I was clothes in a dryer, and my head started to feel dizzy. I blinked it back. My hand reached out finding something hard, and I clutched it like my life depended on it, because it did. A tire iron. Thank God. I had no fucking clue what was going on out there, but I had to fight.
Metal crunching and tires squealing, if felt like the car was getting some resistance from the front because we were starting to slow down.
What was going on!?
I clenched the tire iron as we slowed. The tires burned rubber as Blaine tried to move but was unable to do so. The smell grew and grew.
The car slowed to a crawl, and when it stopped, I held my tire iron, laid on my back, and kicked the lid of the trunk with all of my might.
When it popped open, I sat up and swung the tire iron.
“Indie!” Bella cried out, stepping back, but the iron clipped her face.
“Oh my God!” I cried, dropping the iron and climbing out quickly to rush to Bella. “I’m so sorry. Did I break something? Are you okay? What can I do?”
Guilt filled me, and the situation I was in didn’t register.
Bella wrapped her arms around me tight. “I’m perfectly fine. You’ve got a good swing, though.”
I pulled back to see blood spilling from her face. “I’m so sorry, Bella.”
She smiled wide which I thought was unusual, but with her next words I knew why. “Took a tire iron to the face to get you to call me Bella again.”
“You stupid piece of shit.” I heard Princess’ voice and whipped around as I saw her punching Blaine in the face.
“Can we get him out of the car?” Austyn asked, and Princess punched him again.
“Now you can,” she responded, smiling.
Twisted, but I got it. I felt it. The bond with these women. The “ride or die” coming out tenfold. And it was for me.
My heart warmed. Was that strange in this situation? Whatever. My life had turned into strange.
Tanner and Ensley came to Blaine’s side as Austyn held him with his arm behind his back.
Not thinking or caring, I marched to them and hit Blaine in the dick so hard he fell to the ground in a moaning heap and everyone released him.
He cried out in pain, and I didn’t care for one second.
