Sir noticed and smiled as he pulled his horse up alongside hers. “I have to say, you look irresistible riding that horse, babygirl.”

“I was thinking the very same thing about you, Sir.”

Wanting to get a video of Hope riding with Rytsar,Brie aimed her phone and turned on the video. Rytsar looked handsome riding the buckskin. She would never forget her time spent with him on his horse Voin, riding in front just as Hope was riding now.

He had his strong arm wrapped securely around Hope, who was looking adorable in her frilly pink dress and cowboy hat. Rytsar must have sensed Brie watching him, because he turned his head. “Moye solntseis a natural-born rider,” he stated with pride.

In response to hearing her name, Hope lifted her head to smile up at him.

Brie was grateful she was able to capture that precious moment on film. She decided to stop briefly to take photos of the two men riding together, not quite believing that any of this was real.

Afraid of falling too far behind, Brie put her phone away and leaned forward, patting Wildflower, before nudging her steed to catch up with the group.

When the guide finally turned them around to return to the ranch, Brie’s heart rate sped up. Although this time spent out in nature riding these beautiful horses had been a fantasy come true, Brie knew she was about to experience a whole different kind of fantasy.

And things were about to get a whole lot hotter!

Cattlemen Heat

After Brie and Hope said their goodbyes to the three horses, they headed back to the cabin. Brie deeply appreciated her view as she walked behind Sir and Rytsar. There was nothing quite like the fit of tight jeans…

When they returned to the cabin, they found Rosita in the kitchen. She smiled as they entered and quickly wiped her hands with a towel. “Your son just went down for a nap a few minutes ago. He was fascinated by our menagerie of animals and refused to leave them until just now. The poor boy tuckered himself out.”

“No problems, then?” Sir asked her.

“Not at all, Mr. Davis. He is a pure delight, and the animals love him.”

He smirked, glancing at Brie. “He must take after his mother, then.”

Hope, who had been full of energy and babbling on and on about the horses, suddenly started to cry. Despite Brie doing her best to comfort and distract her, the littlegirl could not be consoled.

Rosita offered Brie a sympathetic look. “She must be hungry.”

Picking up a plate of little corn cakes, she offered it to Hope. “Would you like some gorditas de la villas?”

When Hope saw the treats on the plate, her whining instantly ceased.

“They’re yummy,” Rosita assured her.

Hope toddled over and picked one up, a little sob escaping her lips as she looked up at the woman tearfully. But, as soon as Hope took a bite, her eyes lit up and she reached out to grab another.

Rosita nodded. “That’s right. Take as many as you want,niñita.”

Thank you, Brie mouthed to Rosita.

The woman winked in response and watched in satisfaction as Hope joyfully stuffed her mouth. When her tummy was full, she toddled back over to Brie and crawled into her lap.

Rosita smiled tenderly at their daughter, then turned to Rytsar. “I trust the ride went well,SeñorDurov?”

“It was perfect,” he answered. “I commend you on your rehabilitation of these fine animals. You’ve taken spirits that were broken and successfully brought them back from the abyss to live productive lives.”

“It’s a true passion of mine,SeñorDurov.”

“That is evident.” When Rosita started toward the door, Rytsar stood up and opened it for her, following her outside. “I do have one question for you…”

Sir looked at Brie, flashing her a captivating smile. “How are you doing, babygirl?”

“I’m on cloud nine, Sir. Being together like this has lifted my spirits more than I can say.”
