“You’re not kidding.” She groaned. “Even though I didn’t have any second thoughts, it took me a while to figure out that all of those tears I was crying were tears of relief. But can you imagine? After everything he did to make the day special, there I was—crying my freaking eyes out.”

“How did he handle it?”

“Of course he was distressed—naturally. But he held me close and comforted me through my tears.”

Smiling confidently, Brie said, “That right there is the testament of a true Dom.”

Lea smirked at her. “There wasonegood thing that came from all that crying.”

“What was that?”

Lea put her hands over Hope’s ears. “Hunter and I had the best fuck of our entire lives!”

Brie snorted. “Sir and I heard that part…”

“Then you know it went on for hours!” Lea grinned.

Removing her hands from Hope’s ears, Lea kissed the little girl on the head. “I’m not sure if it was all of those tears or the fact that I was wearing his collar, but man… Best. Night. Ever!”

“You may think it can’t be topped, but I’m speaking from experience when I say this is just the beginning for you two. It’s the reason I can’t stop smiling for you—” Brie’s voice trailed off when she spotted Sir and Hunter, who was holding Antony.

Lea saw them too and waved frantically, pointing to the water. “You have to see this! There are dolphins jumping in the waves.”

Again, Brie was impressed with the easy way Hunter had around children. But the moment Antony saw Brie, he immediately started to fuss. Taking him from Hunter, Brie pointed to the dolphins and said excitedly, “Do you see them? Look how high they can jump.”

While Brie was watching the dolphins, she noticed a small ship with a large red flag flapping wildly in the wind. It seemed strange to her that it was heading directly toward the ship.

Shielding her eyes with her hand, she stared at it and asked with concern, “Do you see that, Sir?”

“I do,” he answered with interest, standing besideher.

Brie felt her anxiety rise when she noticed the huge cruise ship slowing down. “What do you think is happening?” she asked the others in concern.

“I’m sure they’re just boat enthusiasts out for a joyride,” Lea told her.

“But a cruise ship wouldn’t stop for tourists,” Brie insisted.

“It does seem highly unusual.” Hunter agreed. “But I doubt modern-day pirates would attack a cruise ship.”

“Maybe we should head back to the cabin just to be safe?” Brie suggested, clutching Antony to her chest.

Sir put his arm around Brie. “That won’t be necessary, babygirl.”

She was puzzled by his answer and asked, “Why, Sir?”

“Did you notice what’s on the flag?”

Brie shielded her eyes again and squinted at the red flag. “Is that…?” Shaking her head, she murmured, “It can’t be!”

“It is,” Sir assured her.

Her heart began to race as she stared at the waving red flag with a black dragon in the center—a symbol she was quite familiar with. Turning to Sir, she asked, “What’s going on? I don’t understand, Sir.”

He smiled as he picked up Hope. “We need to head down now to disembark.”

Surprised, Lea cried out, “Disembark?”

Sir smiled when he answered Lea, “The person on that ship has come to kidnap my wife and children.”
