“Did anything happen before Nicole’s murder?”
“Shit. Yes. Fuck. How could I have forgotten? We had an officer transfer over. Someone attacked her. She’s in the hospital. I heard about it the day before I found out about Nicole. I’m such an asshole, I forgot all about her.”
“You had other things on your mind.” She says, pulling out her phone and sending a text. “I’m asking Spark to look into it. If those bastards are the ones who put her in the hospital, then that explains why the colonel sent them after me. He knew I’d follow through with my threat and with a new victim, the threat grew. Ok, that’s done. Are you ready to go party?” She asks. “Well, I’ll party. You’re a prospect. You need to work.”
I link my fingers with hers. “In a minute. I have one more thing I need to talk to you about. You thought I betrayed you. Thought I set you up today? Didn’t you?”
She nods and squeezes my fingers. “I did. For a few minutes. Remember, I woke up before you. I think they tasered you and then gave you the same drug they gave me to knock you out. So you were out longer. I was awake long enough to remember seeing you greeting someone before he grabbed me. So yeah, my first thought was that you set me up. Especially when they taunted me and said you’d likely want to join in.”
“How could you think I would do something like that?” I ask, my heart hurting that she could think of me being capable of something so horrendous.
“Because I wasn’t thinking. I wasn’t thinking with my brain or my heart. Fear kept me from seeing the truth. Not much scares me, but the thought of going through it all again was too much for me. Being at their mercy again scared me. Once I calmed down and assessed the situation, I realized the truth.”
“What they did. That was why you hated me when I first showed up?” I ask.
She grins. “I didn’t hate you. If I hated you, you’d be dead.”
I smirk at her statement. “I love you.”
“I love you, too.”
I lean forward and capture her mouth with mine. “I know we need to get out there, but I need to get in you first. Need to feel our connection.”
“That’s the best idea you’ve had today. But I want it hard and fast. Think you can keep up?”
We strip quickly, but before I can grab her, she straddles me so she can push me back on the bed. “This time, I’m in charge.” She growls and, fuck, if that isn’t the sexiest sound. “On your back, I’m going to ride you until you collapse.” She slides my hands up above my head and lowers her breast into my face. “You suck, while I stroke.” She orders.
I groan as I capture her breast between my lips while she slides her hot pussy up the length of my cock. He snaps to attention, aching with the need to plunge into her wet heat. But she slides back down, building my desire as I get lost in the taste of her. When I feel her essence coating my cock, she shifts so I can suckle her other breast. Her silky skin slides against mine as she arches her body to press harder against my member. I’m close to breaking free and slamming into her when she shifts enough to let him slide inside.
“Oh, fuck.” She moans as her body adjusts to take all of me inside her. As soon as I’m buried inside her, she moves. And holy fuck, I forget where I am. She slams down hard, contracting her muscles as she moves, catching me in a vice and intent on wringing out every ounce of pleasure. Her movements are forceful and intense. I lay under her, studying her face, even though the sway of her breasts try to distract me. There is something intensely erotic about watching a woman take what she wants. When I feel her channel flutter, I know she’s close. Focusing on the feel of her, I watch as she crests over the hill and splits apart with ecstasy. Her expression gives me the last push I need to follow her over.
CHAPTER TWENTY-SEVEN: CHILL
When we walk into the common room holding hands, the guys don’t let it go unnoticed.
“You know, the prospects aren’t just here to service you, Chill?” Dice shouts out. I flip him off as Hunter moves forward to clean off the tables of empty beer bottles. The blush on his neck is the only sign that he heard him.
I move to the bar to take a seat next to Spark, glancing around the room as I sit. Dice is sitting with Avery, Claudia’s granddaughter, while Viper and Sterling sit across from them. Puma has Alisa on his lap while he chats with Wildcard and Hawk. A few kutte bunnies are here as well, and it looks like they’ve chosen their targets for the evening. I don’t mind the kutte bunnies too much. I know the guys like having pussy on tap and the girls get plenty of perks in exchange, besides the biggest perk of fucking hot biker guys. They get a place to live, food, and even financial support if they need it. Several of the girls work outside the clubhouse, while two of the girls are in college earning their degrees.
“How’s it going?” Spark asks me when I signal Smooth for a beer.
“Good. Did you get my text?” I ask him.
He doesn’t respond but pulls out his phone and reads what I sent him. “Fuck. I’ll need to check this out.” He goes to move, but I put a hand on his arm to stop him.
“It will keep. Nothing we can do about it right now. But do you think we missed her?” I ask him.
He nods. “Definitely. I have a program that alerts me if a woman transfers into or out of that unit. I saw when she reported for duty, but I saw nothing about her leaving. That would have triggered the second alert. Never took into consideration the possibility of her being hospitalized.” He brushes his finger over his upper lip. “I should have. The odds of those guys escalating were high. Especially since you forced them to keep their hands and other body parts to themselves for so long.”
I pat his arm. “After tomorrow, that won’t be a problem.”
He grins. “No, it won’t. Can’t wait to see what you have planned for them.”
“Haven’t worked out the details, but there is definitely going to be a very unhappy ending.” I say, smirking when Spark winces. He knows when I give a guy an unhappy ending. It usually involves him losing his dick. Every guy’s worst nightmare.
When I see Alisa get up and leave the room, Spark and I move over to bring Puma up to speed.
“It’s likely they tried to silence you because you can bury them.” Puma muses. “If the authorities are looking for them, they could spend some time in jail.”
