After the tour of the room, I turned around to see Elias grinning at me. “So, do you like your room?” he asked me sheepishly.
“Yes, I do. It’s feels very comfortable and inviting. Now, I need you to leave so I can get ready for dinner,” I replied as I tried to shoo him away.
“Alright, I’ll leave, but I’ll see you in a few minutes,” Eliasstated as he kissed me on the temple before leaving my room.
I went to the walk-in closet to find my outfit before I took my shower. Outfit found, now for the shower. I didn’t have to worry about my toiletries, he made sure everything was taken care of. I took my time showering and getting ready. When I emerged from my room, I found Elias waiting for me in the living room. He looked dashing in his black dress slacks, long sleeve light blue button-down shirt. The top button was not buttoned, and his sleeves were pulled up to his elbows. His light brown hair was neatly styled, and he even shaved for dinner.
I was met with a wolf whistle. I was dressed in anavy-blue skirt that went down to my knees, and a light blue scooped neck blouse with navy blue pumps. I applied light makeup. I left my hair down except for braiding the front sides and taking it the back to hold the rest of my hair. “I take it, you like what you see?” I teased Elias as I approached him.
“Likeit? No, I love it. You look beautiful Bree,” Elias exclaimed as he sauntered over and gave me a kiss on the lips. “Shall we go to dinner, my lady?”
“Yes, we shall,” I repliedas I mesmerized by his eyes.
“Let’s go,” he said as he proceeded to lead me out of the suite and down the stairs. As we entered the dining room, the room got quiet. Everyone present looked at Elias and then at me. Elias had his arm securely wrapped around my waist. This did not go unnoticed by no one. Elias led us to our seats. He held out my seat for me. I sat down. He addressed the pack and then sat down himself.
I couldn’t help but notice the looks on the pack members faces. They were curious glances and ones of hope.I knew those looks. I saw them on the faces of the pack members at Drake’s pack. I watched as the servers placed the platters on the tables. One server in particular caught my attention. I had seen her before, but where? Then, it hit me. She was one of the contestants at the tournament. She was pretty good. She saw me looking at her and she nodded towards me in acknowledgement.
Elias began fixinga plate of the food placed on the table. I was about to pick up a plate when he said, “We will share this plate.”
“Alright,” I said with a smile on my face because this is similar to what Drake did. Elias picked up a fork got a piece of meat. He began to feed me, just like Drake did. I accepted the food. The entire meal went by like that. He would feed me, then him with his pack watching us. I did nothing to disagree or show signs of animosity. When we were finished, Elias told his pack, good night. We left and went back to his suite.
“Thank you for dinner. It was very good,” I exclaimed as we entered the living room area.
“You’re very welcome. What would you like to do now? Do you want to watch a movie, watch TV, cuddle, or whatever you want to do,” he inquired as he took me into his arms and began to pepper me with kisses down my neck.
“How about we watch a movie or TV. It’s still early. It also depends upon what we’re going to do tomorrow. What’s on tap for tomorrow?” I asked as I took his hand as led him to the couch.
He sat down on the couchand pulled me onto his lap. “I was thinking that I’d show you what a normal day looks like for me here at the pack. Starting with training. I want you to know what your life would look like as my Luna. How does that sound?” Elias exclaimed as he watched me for any hint that he may have made a mistake.
“That sounds … pretty good. I would like that,” Ihonestly replied with a smile on my face.
“Really? I was hoping I wasn’t pushing it or trying toforce it on you,” Elias stated as if he was trying to reassure himself rather than me.
“No. Really. I like the idea of knowing that if I became your Luna, what would I be doing all day. That’s very thoughtful of you. Thank you for thinking of me,” I gushed as I wrapped my arms around his neck.
“So, training starts at 6, then we have breakfast at 8. Then, we start our day with our daily briefing at 9. From there, we set our daily agenda. Sound like something you can handle?” Elias questioned with a slight grin.
“Sounds like a plan. Now then, Alpha. What are we going to do now?Hmm?” I asked as he continued to pepper soft kisses down my neck.
He growled when Isaid alpha. “When we are together, you are to call me Elias or Eli, not Alpha. Understood?” Elias demanded.
“Understood Elias,” I replied with a smirk.
“Now,I like tasting your neck at the moment. But I sense you want to do something else. What would you like to do my dear?” Elias asked me with his wolfish grin.
“I really don’t know. I’m just enjoying sitting on your lap at the moment. I like the feel of your arms around me and your kisses … oh they feel so …sigh … soft and wonderful,” I explained as I continued to look into his eyes.
“Really, then let me continue to make you feel good,” he said with that grin.
Just as he began to pepper me with more kisses, my phone began to ring in my room. I ignored it. But it kept ringing. “I’d better go answer it or they’ll keep calling. Excuse me for a moment. I’ll be right back,” I said to Elias, and I went to retrieve my phone.
I found my phone and my dad was trying to reach me. Ianswered the phone, “Hey dad, what’s going on? Why are you blowing my phone up?”
“Bree, we have a problem. We had eyes on your mother, but now no one can find her. We couldn’t make a move on her until we had proof of her deeds. Now, we can’t find a trace of her,” dad stated with a sad tone in his voice.
“What do you mean no one can find her? Where did they lose her? She couldn’t have just disappeared into thin air dad. That’s impossible,” I growled as I reentered the living room and began to pace behind the couch.
Eliasgot up and was trying to stop me from pacing and calm me down. “Bree, calm down and take a deep breath.”
