“I’m sorry to hear that. I’m glad you can see your brother, but maybe your parents will come back soon so you can have a relationship with your sister. I hope so,” I added as I put my head on his shoulder.

We sat in silence for a few more minutes before he let out a longsigh. Then, he kissed my cheek and got up. “Are you ready to see the lake Bree?” Elias cried out holding his hands out for me to take.

“Yes, I am ready,” I answered him with a smile on my face as I placed my hands in his hands.

“You have two options. Option 1: We can shift into our wolves and run to the lake. Or Option 2: We can take an ATV to the lake. Which do you prefer my dear? It is your choice.” Elias grinned a wolfish grin.

“As much as I would like to let my wolf out and run. I think it would be prudent to take the ATV to the lake. My wolf is still a little weak from the poisoning. She is still healing,” I sadly stated with my head held low.

“Hey, don’t do that. Hold your head up.You’re alright, your wolf is going to be alright. Don’t think about anything else. Okay? I hear that the lake is a go-to place for you and your wolf. Maybe this will help her heal and feel better,” Elias exclaimed as he grabbed the satchel off the bench and guided us towards a shed. He took some keys out of his pocket and unlocked the shed. “I’ll be right back.”

When Elias came back, he was on an ATV. He came to a screeching halt a few inches away from me. Hmm, very interesting I thought. Once he took his helmet off, he apologized for coming so close to me. He gave me my helmet and told me once I got on, to wrap my arms around his waist and hold on which I did.

We got on the ATV. I wrapped my arms around his waist. I noticed his heartbeat accelerate onceI sat behind him. I put my head on his back, so I was looking at the scenery sideways. He drove fast, but not too fast. It took us about ten minutes to get to the lake. We took off our helmets and dismounted the ATV. We started to walk towards the water when he suddenly stopped and turned towards me. I almost walked right into him. He leaned down and crashed his lips into mine. The kiss was soft which turned passionate quickly.

When we parted, he stated, “I wanted to kiss you like that since this morning. Every time I wanted to do it, someone else was there and it didn’t feel right. I’m glad that you’re here with me. I finally get some alone time with you to show you the real me.”

I didn’t know what to say. I just looked at him in the eyes. He spoke with such sincerity. It was clearly in his eyes. I reached up with my right hand and ran my hand down his cheek. My hand came to rest on his chiseled chest. “I’ve been looking forward to spending some alone time with you as well,” I stated with honesty.

He took my hand and intertwined it with his. We walked around the lake and stopped at the waterfall to enjoy the sounds. He sat down near the waterfall and pull me onto his lap. I closed my eyes to enjoy the sounds of the waterfall. My wolf responded to the sounds of the water and started to whimper. “My wolf wants out. Do you think I can shift and let her out so she can enjoy the water?” I inquired of Elias as I turned around on his lap to ask him the question.

“Yes,you can shift. I can watch out for your wolf. Your detail is still in the distance keeping watch as well. You can go behind the tree and shift,” Elias replied with a gleam in his eyes. “I can’t wait to meet your wolf, Bree.”

I got up and went behind the tree to start taking off my clothes. Before I did,out of habit, I looked around to make sure no one was lurking about. Feeling safe, I stripped and shifted. I walked out from behind the tree as my chocolate-colored wolf.

“Bree, your wolf is beautiful,” Elias cried out as I sashayed over towards him. I lowered my head onto my front paws and the rest of my body to the ground as a sign of submission. Elias came over and started to rub the fur between my ears. “Your eyes are the same light blue color. Absolutely beautiful,” he said rubbing the sides of my neck. “May I shift and join you next to the lake?” he asked as I looked toward the lake.

Inodded my head yes. He chuckled as he gently placed a kiss above my nose. “I’ll be right back,” Elias stated as he quickly went behind the tree to shift into his wolf. I sat down and waited for him to return. Elias has light brown hair, his wolf has light brown hair. His wolf was the same size as Drakes—huge. He came and sat in front of me.

I lowered my body as a sign of submission to him. He approached me and proceeded to lick the side of my face. Then, we began to rub against each other to get our scent on each other. After Elias was satisfied, he nudged me closer to the water so I could lie down and enjoy the water. I laid down next to the water and he cuddled next to me. I enjoyed the listening to the sounds of water and his heartbeat. Both were soothing and relaxing. We stayed like this for a while. Just enjoying each other.

After a while, Elias got up and nudged me to get up. I got up and followed him.He went behind the tree and shifted back into his human self. He put on his clothes and emerged with a grin on his face. “Bree, you need to go behind the tree and shift back. We need to return to the pack house. I need to take care of something,” Elias announced with a small smile on his face as he watched my wolf sashay towards the tree.

I emerged fully clothed a few minutes later holding the satchel. “I believe this belongs to you sir. Where shall I put it?” I asked as I walked over to him with a wicked grin on my face.

“Oh, you are anaughty, naughty wolf. Are you trying to tempt me?” Elias chuckled as he took the satchel from my hand.

“Now, why would I do that? Hmm?” I laughed as I wrapped my arms around his neck and gave him a soft, sweet kiss on the lips.

“Be careful,little wolf. It’s not nice to tease,” Elias explained as he led me to the ATV so we could go back to the pack house.

Elias had to handle some business. He asked me if I wanted tolook around the pack house or wait for him in his suite. I opted for waiting for him in his suite. I was escorted to the suite, and I was told to wait for him in the living room. I was going to sit there and watch some TV but decided to do some stretches instead. Elias walked in while I was in the middle of stretching. He stood there watching me with a goofy grin on his face while drooling at the same time.

“What a sight to walk into,” Elias stated as he approached me. “Some of those poses I wouldn’t mind trying with you.”

“Noted. Everything alright?” I asked him as he wrapped his arms around my waist and kissed me.

“Yes, all is well.Now, what would you like to do for dinner? We can eat with the pack, have a cozy dinner for two here in my suite, or I can take you out somewhere? The choice is yours?” Elias stated he stared into my eyes.

“Nuh-uh. That’s not how this works. I’m your guest. You are supposed to tell me. But I think tonight, I would like to eat with your pack if that is alright. Then, tomorrow, we can do something as a couple. How does that sound?” I asked him and kissed him.

“I can go for that. Dinner will be served in about 40 minutes. Let me tell my Beta we will be joining them downstairs tonight,” he said as his eyes glazed over as he mind linked his Beta. “Done. Now, let’s refresh ourselves for dinner, shall we?”

“How shall I dress? Semi-casual? Casual?” I questioned Elias as he led me to my room so I could get ready.

“Weusually dress casually for dinner unless we have guests for dinner. Since, you are technically a guest, some will dress a little bit more than usual. I would dress business casual,” Elias clarified for me with a sly grin on his face. “Now, this is your room,” he said as he opened the door, and we stepped in.

The room was the size of a master bedroom in a normal house. The whole room was painted a light blue. It had a king size bed placed in the middle of the room flanked by two nightstands with twin brass lamps. The right side of the room had a sitting area with a coffee table. The left side of the room had a walk-in closet full of clothes which led into the bathroom. The bathroom was huge. It contained a walk-in shower, a jacuzzi tub with jets, and a vanity with dual sinks. The vanity was made of white granite quartz.
