“I’ve been busy with the herbs and making my own stuff, but now it’s time to experiment more,” Heather said. “But I’ll send Lily a text in a few. I’m sure she is getting ready to leave. I saw Zane’s truck leaving when I came onto the property.”

“Lily used to go in earlier too, but now she gets Willow ready in the morning and she isn’t moving as fast herself.”

“She looks like she is glowing,” Heather said. “She still has a few weeks, right?”

“Which means any time. I’ve seen a lot of pregnancies go before the full term, but she’d be fine either way.”

“You should have gone into medicine,” Heather said.

“Never. No way. I didn’t like school enough for that. I’ll leave it to my brother Chase.”

The two of them finished up and she met with her staff that were coming in now, gave the instructions for the day and drove into the shop.

“What are you doing here?” Rose asked her when she came in the back door.

“Working,” she said. “Why?”

“I thought you were getting Ivy today and on vacation.”

Jasmine snorted. “I’m picking her up in a few hours. She just texted that she landed at O’Hare and has a two-hour layover. Then I’ll get her settled and take her out to dinner.”

“How long has it been since you’ve seen her?” Rose asked.

“A few years. We talk all the time, but she’s been working or money was tight. I’m surprised she could swing this last minute, but that tells me there is a reason for it too.”

Not that she wasn’t thrilled to see her baby sister, but there had to be more going on that Ivy didn’t want to talk about over the phone. And since Ivy hated flying still, something had to give her the courage to get on the plane.

“I’m not sure I could go that long without seeing my sisters,” Rose said. “Well, maybe Poppy.”

“I heard that,” Poppy said, coming from another direction in the back. “You couldn’t go long without me and you know it.”

She loved the dynamic these sisters had.

“I could easily do it,” Rose said. “And you know it. You’re annoying more times than you’re not.”

Rose was smirking, but Poppy’s eyes started to fill. Poppy was the emotional one of the group, but nothing was said right now that hadn’t been said in the past and she wasn’t sure what was going on.

“Are you okay?” Jasmine asked Poppy.

“Shit,” Rose said. “What is going on with you? Are you hormonal?”

“I am,” Poppy said.

“Why is Poppy crying?” Lily asked, moving into the room as fast as she could.

“She’s hormonal,” Rose said. “That time of the month.”

“No, it’s not,” Poppy said. “I’m pregnant.”

The grin filled her face. Rose’s jaw dropped, Lily moved in to hug her. “Wow,” Rose said. “That’s fast. How far along are you?”

“I’m two weeks late,” Poppy said, jumping up and down now and grabbing Rose in for a hug. “Don’t worry, I’ll still be able to get into my gown for your wedding in a few months.”

“Only you care about that,” Rose said, hugging Poppy back. “All eyes are going to be on me that day, not you.”

“That’s right,” Lily said. “Have you been to the doctor’s? How are you feeling?”

“Congrats,” Jasmine said, moving in before Poppy could answer.
