He dips his head to hide it and shoves his hands into his pockets, clearing his throat before he looks between me and his son. “Are you kids hungry yet? We were just about to order some food before we go.”

“Wait, you’re leaving tonight?” Xan asks, looking a little disappointed when they both nod. “Why?”

“I’ve got work at five tomorrow morning and your mother’s got an appointment with her therapist.”

“Thank you, Alec,” Isla says dryly. “I’m sure everybody here needed to know that.”

“Honey, most of them already know what a raging lunatic you are,” he throws back, smirking right at her when he catches the look on her face. “It’s nothing to be embarrassed about.”

“You are such a prick.”

“That’s not what you said in the car just now,” he mutters, earning himself a nasty glare and a hard slap to the chest. “You hit like a girl.”

“I swear to god, I could kill you.”

“Try it.”

“Don’t tempt me.”

I pinch my lips together and look up at Xan, pulling my brows in when I find him grinning like a dumbass.

“What are you so happy about?”

“They’re arguing,” he whispers, side eyeing his parents while he dips his head to kiss the crook of my neck.

“And that’s a good thing?”

“Baby, that’s an awesome thing,” he tells me, tightening his arms around my waist while he moves to speak in my ear. “I dare you to take a shower with me.”

“Right now?” I hiss, my cheeks heating when he nods and pulls me back towards the pool house. “What about dinner with your parents?”

“It’ll take at least a half hour for the food to get here,” he points out, nipping my earlobe. “I’ll make you come hard and fast, I promise.”

My pussy throbs at that, and I almost moan. “Goddamnit, Xan.”

Travis and Kian both laugh at us and Xan wiggles his eyebrows, but then he stops walking and looks at our principal over my head. “Am I expelled?”

“No, you’re not expelled,” she assures him, lifting a hand when he starts to say something else. “And yes, JJ can move in with you for the rest of senior year. You’ve both been sleeping here every night anyway, so it’s really no different than before, is it?”

I fail to hide my amusement and she winks at me, playfully shaking her head at us when Xan picks me up and throws me over his shoulder. I let out a squeal and he squeezes my ass over my leggings, chuckling to himself while he carries me through to the bathroom in the pool house. He turns the water on and sets me down on my feet, quickly ripping his shirt over my head before he’s back on me again, squeezing my sides and owning my body in a way that makes me crazy. He kisses me and I melt against him, lifting my hands to run my fingers through his messy purple hair.

“We’re going to Washington, baby girl,” he rasps, grabbing my waistband to push it down over my ass. “Are you happy?”

“Xan, I’m so fucking happy, I could cry.”

He grins and quickly sheds the rest of our clothes, backing me up into the shower to push me up against the wall beneath the water. He pulls my head back by my hair and kisses me again, blindly reaching over to grab the shower gel from the side. I run my hands over his abs and he washes his dick with his free hand, groaning when I reach down to help him do it.

“Hey, Jordyn?” he asks, breathing hard against my lips.

“What, Xan?”

He pulls back a bit to look at me and smirks like a bad boy, his nose brushing mine while he teases my ribs with his fingertips. “I dare you to love me forever.”
