“It doesn’t,” I answer for her, looking her dead in the eye to ensure she hears me loud and clear. “All that matters is that we know.”

She takes a breath and I kiss her again, sliding both hands down to her waist while I grind my hips against hers. She digs her nails into my shoulders and arches her back out for me, eagerly fucking me back hit for hit.

“I know you know, baby,” I tell her, gently dragging her bottom lip out between my teeth. “I know you felt it then and I know you feel it now. I can’t take my eyes off you. You’re the only fucking girl I’ve ever seen.”

“Oh, fuck,” she moans, clinging to my neck while she becomes more and more desperate. “Harder, Xan.”

Fuck, yes.

I give her what she wants and she comes almost instantly, her eyes rolling back in her head while she throbs and clenches around me. I groan into her mouth and drop my hands to her ass, crushing her between me and the wall while I mark her pussy with my own release. Her thighs shake and she locks her ankles behind my back, her chest moving in sync with mine while we both attempt to catch our breath.

“That was really stupid,” she says after a while, her neck and cheeks flushed with heat while she looks around to check we’re still alone.

“Fucking hot, though.”

She smirks like the little devil she is and I smirk back, slowly running my hands over her body while I take her mouth with mine. I kiss her for I don’t know how long, enjoying the way she lets me do it like she missed me just as much as I missed her today, then I set her down on her feet and sneak her around to the parking lot. We get to my car without being seen and I clean her up with a spare t–shirt, dropping to my knees in front of her to wipe my cum from the insides of her thighs.

“Did you eat yet?” I ask, looking up at her while I pull her thong back into place.

“No, but I’ve had about five iced coffees today.”

I chuckle at that, standing up to toss my shirt back into the trunk. “You want me to go grab you some Chinese food?”

“Chinese food,” she echoes, frowning while she looks off to the restaurant across the street. “Like, in a box?”

I lean back between Xan’s legs and curl my toes in the sand beneath my feet, moaning to myself while I dangle my noodles into my mouth. “This is so good.”

He laughs at me and I jab my elbow into his ribs, freezing mid chew when I spot Travis and Kian walking towards us with four beers and a lit joint of weed.

“Hey,” Travis says, crouching down in front of me to tap my nose with his forefinger. “You still mad at me?”

“I wasn’t mad at you, Trav,” I admit, setting my food down on the ground to take the drink he passes me. “I was mad at your stupid cousin.”

“That one right there, you mean?” Kian asks, smirking at us while he drops down on his ass next to me.

“Shut up.”

He chuckles and I shake my head at him, smiling to myself while I look up at Xan over my shoulder. He’s still flicking through the most recent photos on my camera, his eyes narrowed with a mixture of anger and jealousy. I took about seventy shots of the new friend I met today and he’s shirtless in every single one of them, his body glistening with a light layer of sweat thanks to the mini football game I made him play for me.

“Fuckin’ prick,” he mutters at the last one, tightening his arm around my waist in a way that screams mine.

I laugh lightly and take the camera from him, discreetly hiding it between my back and his abs when I spot Penelope and Sienna walking by us on their way to the bar. Penelope rolls her eyes when she sees where I’m sitting and I work my jaw, snatching my chopsticks up while I prepare myself for the impending judgement.

I know Xan was right before, that I need to learn to stop worrying so much about the opinions of others and focus on what really matters, but that’s a little hard for me to do considering the importance of image has been drilled into my brain since I was a child.

Sienna has the nerve to glare at me and Penelope stops walking, scrunching her nose while she tilts her head to get a better look at my wrist. “Oh my god, is that a tattoo?”

I raise a brow at that, casually eating my food while I wait for whatever she’ll say next. Sienna knocks her elbow with hers and Penelope blinks, hitting me with a tight lipped smile that’s as fake as my mother’s chin.

“Pretty,” she says, and I snort out a laugh, shaking my head at her when she grabs Sienna’s forearm and drags her away from us.

Xan grins like he’s proud of me and I bite my lip to hide mine, tipping my head back on his shoulder to run my free hand through his hair. “I love you.”

“Sorry, what?”
