"She's being detained."

"For what," he barks.

The officer removes his gun and holds it to Axel's head. "Put your hands up, now."

He doesn't.

"Sir, this is your last warning."

"Axel, do it," I cry out, scared they will shoot him.

He slowly puts his hands up.

The officer with the handcuffs says, "Put your hands out, ma'am."

"What are you arresting her for?" Axel growls again. "She has a right to know."

The officer holding the gun to his head looks behind us. There are no other passengers left to come off the flight. As the cold metal is locked around my wrists, he says, "Espionage against Britain is treason."

"What? I'm not a spy."

"Where's your proof?" Axel asks.

"Ma'am, you're coming with me."

"Don't touch her," Axel yells.

"Stay calm, sir, or we will arrest you, too."

As the officer leads me away, Axel's eyes grow dark. The gun is still pointed at his head.

"Don't forget your promise to me," I plead, and tears stream down my cheeks.

"You can't take her," he yells at the officer.

"Axel, tell me you won't forget your promise," I scream.

"Don't say anything. I'll figure this out," he says.

"Tell me," I beg, but the door slams shut, and a new nightmare begins.
