One that’s not officially listed, that’s for sure.

She will never know how very much I wanted to be able to share everything with her. Hopefully one day I can do so without worrying that the company will send others to take her out. Others like me.
Those of us that can look through a scope, put one through the eye of someone and walk away without feeling anything at all.
That’s why I’ve been taking the time to hunt down the location of someone that I know is in a position to help. A position with more political pull than Senator Wellington.
And I have something he’ll want. Something he’ll pay whatever price I set to keep it from getting out.
But it’s also something the company will be coming for. Soon. I’m surprised they haven’t already.
It’s actually been too quiet from them lately which means they are already on the move. I just need to keep my eyes open at all times.
My first priority is to keep her safe, even if it costs me my own life. It’s time we moved locations.
I’ve been too distracted lately, letting the feel of her in my arms relax my natural senses.
Walking back towards the cabin determined to pack up and move tonight, something starts to not feel exactly right.
Slowing down, I take my time scanning the area around the cabin for any signs of something that shouldn’t be there.
That’s when my eyes zero in on a shadow against a tree on the far side. I quickly move behind the tree next to me, pulling my gun from behind my back.
I don’t see Raven anywhere and wonder if she’s inside already, completely oblivious to what is about to happen outside. I can only pray that they don’t already have her.
I’m about to move to another spot to get a better shot when something sharp jabs into my arm. Looking down, I see a dart sticking out.
“Fuck!” I say out loud. Within seconds, my vision is blurring before my body hits the ground.
I can just make out a figure of a man before my entire world goes dark.
