“I have emergency custody for now. At least until we have proof of their wrong doing.” I sigh tiredly.

“So really we just need to get Cordy back and worry about proof later.” She says quietly.

“Why are you whispering?” I ask.

“Something is going on next door. I’m trying to hear. I think Erica is in there.” She whispers back.

“Austin, I have the FBI director on the phone. They have found something disturbing.” Governor Harris says from the door.

“What is it?” I ask.

“They have the baby listed for sale on the black market and it looks like they have a buyer. The FBI team is getting ready for them to try to move from the hotel. We need to head that way.” He says frantically as I begin to follow him out.

“Lily, are you there?” I ask into the phone but don’t get a response.

Looking down at it I can see that she has hung up. Trying her number again, it goes straight to voicemail. This can’t be good.

“Let’s go! Now!” I yell, running out the door towards my car.

I don’t wait to see if anyone follows me or not. I have to get to my daughter and to the woman I love.

Lily

As soon as I heard them talking loudly next door, I pulled the phone down away from my ear to listen.

The loud voices were saying that they needed to leave quickly. Without thinking about it, I toss my phone down onto the bed, moving quickly to the door.

“Loki.” I whisper, giving him the hand command to be alert.

I quietly crack the door open just enough to see out. I can feel Loki right behind me in a crouch ready for anything.

As soon as I see the first man walk out of the door, I rush out, round kicking him in the head. Before I can turn around, I am grabbed from behind.

“Stupid bitch!” I hear the man growl, jerking me backwards.

Next thing I know, he’s howling in pain himself as he let’s me go. Turning around quickly, I see that Loki has him by the arm, blood splattering everywhere.

In the midst of the growling and the screaming by the man, I hear the rush of pounding feet.

Looking down towards the courtyard, I can see my dad’s main security guard at the front of the men.

I rush toward the door the goons came out of, when I hear Cordelia crying loudly. Not paying any attention to the stupid bitch still standing across the room, I rush over to the baby to make sure that she is alright.

Just before I reach for her, Erica starts screaming, running right at me.

“I told you this was none of your fucking business you bitch!” She yells, reaching to claw my face.

I block her attempts until she grabs me by my hair, jerking it out. Tired of the bullshit, I grab her by the head, bringing my knee up, slamming it into her nose.

She screams, crumbling to the ground with blood spluttering from her nose. Ignoring her laying on the floor I turn back towards Cordy.

I can hear my dad’s security guys just outside the door. I don’t pay them any attention until I hear Benson yell.

“Don’t shoot him! That’s the Governor's dog!” Benson says to someone outside.

Lifting Cordy from her seat, I place her on my shoulder and rush over to the door. Loki is blocking the men from coming any closer to the door. One of the men I don’t know but looks like a Fed, has his gun raised, pointed at Loki.

“Loki.” I say quietly and he breaks from his position, walking back to me. “You can come closer now.” I say, looking at all the men.
