His hair is still styled perfectly from earlier.

Honestly, Levi is complete sex and, looking at him now, there’s no way that I could stand a chance.

I look up and find his eyes which happen to be just as heated as mine while he takes me in. “Perfect,” he says roughly.

“Wow,” I breathe out. I bite my lip and take another look at him.

“We need to go,” he says suddenly and starts to usher me out of the room.

“W-what?” I ask confused.

“If we don’t leave now, I’m going to want to do things to you that you aren’t ready for,” he says as we stop at my desk and I grab my bag.

I swallow hard at his words. “Alright,” I whisper.

How can this man have such a strong effect on me?

Levi

We get to the restaurant, and I watch as Kyla takes in the place. She looks at everything with wide eyes. The other men and I have been here before. One of our good friends owns this place and we have a standing reservation. I’m sure that he will make his appearance once he hears that I’m with a woman.

Something all of our friends know is that we all want to be with one woman; someone that we feel will complete us.

I’m sure that he would want to meet her. He and his two boyfriends look for something similar in a relationship. They are all together. They had been with this same woman for a couple years. Honestly, I can’t really stand her and don’t know what they see in her. They have to see something in her for all of them to think she’s special though, right? Dylan owns Sergio’s while his men Easton and Braxton own a bar down the street.

We are seated as soon as we get there. We are sitting in our usual back booth that allows for a lot of privacy. We usually like it there so that we aren’t bothered. I like that we have some privacy here tonight so that I can get to know Kyla on another level.

We both order our food and some white wine. Kyla doesn’t say anything, but takes in the room around her.

“I’ve always wanted to eat here,” she murmurs.

“We have a standing reservation if you like it. Our friend Dylan owns the restaurant and is the head chef,” I tell her.

She looks at me with wide eyes. “Wow, really?” I hear a hint of excitement in her voice.

I nod my head. “Yeah, I’m sure that he will be along shortly. He’s probably curious to meet you.”

Kyla tilts her head curiously at me. “Why would he want to meet me?”

“Well, it has been a long time since I have brought a woman here on a date. The others were ready to start dating but I wasn’t, and Dylan knew that. I’m sure he has been waiting for us to walk in the door,” I tell her honestly.

“Wow, I really don’t know what to say to that,” she admits.

“That’s alright. Let’s enjoy this dinner. Tell me more about you,” I say taking a sip of my wine.

“There isn’t really much to say. I didn’t have a big childhood. I was pretty sheltered, and I travelled with my best friend Holly. When it came time to settle down, I got my first job with your company,” she says.

“And you’re still not ready to tell me about this childhood?” I ask.

She bites her lip and shakes her head. “Not yet. Let’s get through all the dates first before I spill all my secrets.”

I chuckle a little bit hiding my disappointment that she still feels that she needs to keep something a secret from us. I worry that it could be partly my fault that she is still so guarded. I was an ass when we first met, and I really don’t know how to dig myself out of the hole I had cut out for myself. I need to show her that I’m not that man. I need to show her that I want her just as much as the other guys do.

I could tell from the way that she looked at me today that she was shocked by my intensity towards her. She shouldn’t have been, but I guess that I have concealed the degree of my passion. I could tell that she still doubted herself with me.

“Tell me about yourself,” she says looking at me like I’m a puzzle that she wants to figure out.

“There isn’t much about me that you don’t know. I am with three men; I dedicate my time to them and work. I don’t do much outside of that,” I admit.
