“Well, what about your childhood?” she asks.

The waitress comes and delivers our food and refills our wine before I speak.

“I grew up as an only child. My parents died in a plane crash when I was little. I met Ethan in high school, and we became lovers until we met Asher and Grayson in college. The four of us became an item after a night of too much tequila,” I tell her with a wink.

“Wow, I would like to hear more details on that,” she says lowly.

Fuck, I would love to tell her more on it, but this isn’t the place.

“One day you will see for yourself, I’m sure of it,” I tell her. My voice had gone low and husky.

I watch as she swallows hard. “That would be good.”

I lock her in my gaze and hope that she can see the desire in my eyes.

“Levi!” a voice says interrupting us.

I jump when Dylan slaps a hand on my shoulder, and look up at him in irritation. He just smirks down at me like he knew where my thoughts were heading.

“And you must be the lovely Kyla,” he says and reaches his hand out. When Kyla takes his hand, he pulls it to his mouth to kiss it, and then he winks at her.

“You are far too gorgeous for this fool. You must come and run away with me. We will start a new life together,” he says in a low purr.

I growl my annoyance as Kyla giggles. When I look over at her, I see that she’s blushing which causes more irritation to grumble out.

“Dylan,” I bite out.

Dylan simply looks at me and raises an eyebrow. He doesn’t seem affected by my tone in the slightest.

“Hands off,” I ground out.

He holds his hands in surrender. “Alright, I get it, she’s yours,” he says with a sigh.

“And how’s Helen?” I ask, relaxing now that he’s let her hand go and turned off the charm.

“She’s fine,”’ he says and looks away. I know that look, but I won’t butt my nose in their business.

“Right, and Easton and Braxton?”

“They are great. Working hard though; a couple bartenders had quit without notice, so they haven’t been around much,” he says.

“Hopefully they will find someone to stick it out,” I say. I know the reason none of the female bartenders will stay there is because of Helen. She chases everyone away. Heck, some of the men have even left because of her. She’s feels threatened by everyone.

“My friend Holly is a bartender; I think she’s in between jobs. She’s amazing at making her own cocktails,” Kyla says smiling.

“Wow, that would be great. Tell her to stop by and I’ll let the others know,” Dylan says.

“I will.”

“Well, if you won’t take me up on my offer, I will get back to the kitchen,” he says giving Kyla another wink.

She shakes her head. “Uhh… No thanks. I’m sure Levi will take care of my needs just fine,” she says, and winks back at him.

Dylan throws his head back in laughter. “Alright, I’ll let him have a chance,” he says as he walks away.

“How kind of you,” I mutter dryly.

Kyla chuckles at my response causing me to shake my head at her.
