“I sure as hell have jacked off enough thinking about you,” Seth muttered.

She turned to look at him. “You have?”

“Every damn day. I want to fuck you so bad, feel your sweet pussy squeezing around me. There’s no damn way in hell you’re going to your sister’s. Fuck that!” His hand circled the back of her neck, and he pulled her toward him, slamming his lips on hers and claiming her mouth for the first time in a month. His lips hungrily moved over hers, and she moaned. All too soon, he lifted away, but before she could complain, she was turned into Tai who took her mouth with the wild abandon she’d missed so badly.

“We want you. More than you can imagine. Never doubt that,” he muttered against her lips.

“I can imagine. If it’s anything like I want you two. But I’m so…” Her hand touched her head again.

“Beautiful?” Tai supplied.

“Not the word I was thinking.”

“You’re more than beautiful,” Seth cut in. “Don’t you dare think otherwise. You could paint yourself green, and you’d still manage to outshine any other woman. Not having your old hair is nothing.”

“Now, I think you’re exaggerating.”

“I’ll prove how much it’s true later.”

“Fuck me when we get home?” she asked, seeing the house in the distance.

“Nope,” Tai replied. “Something else we have to do first. But after that, you bet we will. You’re going to beg for rest.”

“I like that.” She fitted her mouth to his again. Tai hungrily responded, pulling her as close as the seatbelt would allow, sucking and licking at her mouth, tasting her, devouring her. It was everything she’d wanted for the past month—the confirmation that the passion still blazed between them.

They didn’t part until they felt Seth put the truck in park. River sat back in her seat and studied the large, white house with its gingerbread trim and dark-green shutters. Evergreen boughs decked the porch rails and a large tree sat in front of the huge bay window, tiny multi-colored lights twinkling gaily. A wreath wrapped with a wide, red ribbon hung from the door.

“It’s almost Christmas,” she murmured, amazed at how quickly time had passed her by during recovery.

“In one week. I asked Paisley to swing by and light the tree,” Tai said. “Thought you might like that.”

“I do.”

“Keep that in mind,” Seth muttered.

“What’s that?” River asked.

“Nothing,” Tai replied with a glare at Seth, who shrugged unrepentantly.

“Okay, what’s up?”

“Let’s go inside, and you’ll see,” Tai said.

“What did you do? Did Christmas throw up in there?”

Tai laughed and climbed from the car. Reaching in, he released her seatbelt then pulled her out after him, keeping her cradled in his arms. She leaned her head on his chest. “It’s so good to be home.”

“It’s so good to finally have you home.”

“A giant relief,” Seth added. He leaned in and kissed her quickly again—on the lips, and she smiled. Perhaps, they’d just been waiting for permission. Good thing her frustration had won out. Maybe, next, she needed to broach the subject of their wedding ceremony. The legal paperwork was in place, but no one had mentioned the spiritual celebration. And now that she felt so good, she wanted her honeymoon! Of course, with all the time off the guys had taken to be with her during recovery, it would probably be next year before they could get away. She didn’t care. They could stay here forever and never travel. They were together and they were all well and that was all that counted for anything.

Tai paused at the door, and both men rested their forehead against hers. “We love you,” Tai whispered.

Seth kissed her, the touch fleeting but tender. “Forever.”

“Forever,” she repeated as Tai swung open the front door.

“Surprise! Welcome home! River!” Rang out around them as a crowd in the living room yelled out greetings. It looked like the whole town was here!
