Shit!

“Ahh!”

“Fuck, Celine!”

“Ohh! Ahh, Lucas!”

I let out a long moan when I felt the pleasure building up. My nails buried in his back as I felt my second release. My body quaked as I felt an intense orgasm.

Lucas continued to roughly thrust his cock in and out of me until he trembled in the climax of pleasure. He buried his face in my neck as he spilled his juices inside me. A few minutes later, I felt him biting the area between my neck and my shoulder. Shit.

I don’t know, but the moment he did that, I felt a weird feeling growing inside me. I was still panting from exhaustion when I managed to open my eyes, and I saw the moon shining brightly from his window. It was as if it was watching us.

“I love you, Celine…hmm.”

Chapter Fifty-Eight

I woke up feeling so worn out the next morning. I felt every inch of my body aching. I groaned and shifted a bit.

“Hmm.”

My forehead creased when I heard that. When I turned around, I saw Lucas’s face, who was sleeping soundly. His arms and legs are draped all over my body. I blushed when I realized our situation. Shit. Memories of last night suddenly flashed in my mind. Damn it.

He was insatiable last night. I grabbed a small mirror on a table near his bed and checked the mark he left on my neck last. Damn. He really marked me last night! He marked me! We mated under the moonlight. Not to mention that incredible feeling that I felt the moment he marked me and I faced the moon from the window.

I don’t know why but I felt like it was a blessing. I feel so blessed to meet and spend that special moment with him. Then I remembered what he said to me after that steamy night that we had.

“We’re not mates…” I asked in a small voice as I was leaning on Lucas’ chest, and he was hugging me.

I heard him sigh. “Our mating bond will be our decision from now on, Celine. No one will ever control us…” he said as he gently kissed me on the forehead. I bit my lip and hugged him even tighter.

“Hmm, what about your mate? Don’t you have one?” I asked confusingly. I looked up at him and creased my forehead. He pressed his lips together and just heaved a sigh before avoiding my gaze.

“I had, but just like yours, it didn’t work out, Celine. I was too busy finding justice for the victims of the Crest Moon’s atrocities. I eventually lost time for her. She fell in love with another wolf. So, I insisted that she just reject me. I gladly accepted that rejection.”

My mouth formed an ‘o’ at his revelation. I heaved a sigh and just nodded.

“Guess we are indeed alike, huh. We are meant to be.”

I closed my eyes contentedly. My heart swelled in joy. I don’t want this moment to end. It feels illegal to be this happy. But I couldn’t help the overflowing positive emotions inside my chest. I opened my eyes and looked at the man beside me again. I bit my lip harder as I gently stroked his hair.

He looked so tired and like a baby sleeping soundly, too. I chuckled a bit as I surveyed his face. I caressed his face and silently watched him as he slept peacefully.

He moved a bit, and the next thing I knew, we were staring at each other already. My mouth parted a bit. He then smiled at me.

“Hey, love… morning. Do you feel fine?” He smirked. My eyes widened, and I felt my face blush. Oh my gosh! The brute just chuckled and buried his face in my chest again. I closed my eyes as I felt his breath against my skin. Damn it.

Lucas sighed. “Are you ready to be the Luna of the Blood Moon pack, Celine?” he whispered. I stopped stroking his hair. I was stunned for a while. Then I looked at him wide-eyed.

“W-What?” I asked, shocked. I swallowed hard. He looked up at me and just gave me a smile before reaching for my face to plant a soft kiss on my lips.

“Get ready to be a Luna, my love.”

“Everyone, give respect to Luna Celine and Alpha Lucas of the Blood Moon pack!”

I almost held my breath as I looked at the pack members who were applauding and cheering for me.
