“Finally, we have a Luna, huh,” I heard Darius comment beside me. I bit my lip and looked at him. He was all smiles while clapping for me, too. I looked at the people in front of us again, and seeing their smiles was flattering. My heart was so full of joy.

Lucas didn’t waste any more time when informed that I would become his Luna. He immediately put out a meeting for everyone in the pack to make the announcement, and now here we are. From afar, I could see Leila smirking from ear to ear while clapping her hands. Along with her were the shocked but still smiling omegas.

Oh, I have a lot of explaining to do, but I was just as shocked as them. Everything just happened so fast! Shit, I never even thought I’d be in this position at all. I never intended to fall in love with their Alpha. I never intended to be their Luna. Everything just happened so fast. And I am glad that despite being new blood, they never judged me since I got here.

Honestly, it felt like I had finally found the comfort I had yearned for ever since my father died. All I wanted was to be with someone who would love me genuinely and to be surrounded by people who would accept me. The Blood Moon pack made that dream come true. They helped me, and they gave me a new life. Now that I am their Luna, I will vow to take care of and protect this pack just like the way they did to me. I will never forget the joy and hope that they gave me.

I bit my lip to control the tears of joy that were threatening to fall from my eyes. I then looked at Lucas, who was standing beside me and gripped my hand tightly.

“I will vow my life to this pack and you, Lucas,” I whispered to him. He looked at me and his lips curved into a smile.

“And we will do the same, love,” he assured me. I took a deep breath and smiled at him as well. I swallowed hard and hugged him tightly. The cheers even got louder.

“To the Blood Moon!” the warriors shouted.

“To the Blood Moon,” I whispered to Lucas as I hugged him tighter.

And just like that, I became the Luna of the most feared pack in the realm.

Chapter Fifty-Nine

“Hey, you don’t have to do that, Luna.”

I immediately glared at Leila when she said that. The bitch just laughed at me.

“What? I am just spitting facts, Luna Celine,” she said again, emphasizing the word Luna teasingly.

I just closed my eyes and massaged my temples. Gosh, this is stressing me. I never thought it would be this stressful to be a Luna. Damn it.

“She’s right, Luna. We’ll be fine here,” Sheena said as well, which made me groan even more.

This is downright frustrating! I sighed heavily before facing all the omegas in the kitchen at once.

“Okay, everyone. I am getting uncomfortable with everything. Please, I know you just want to express your respect, but I am asking you a favor to please just treat me the same way as before? I’d really want to still help here in the kitchen, okay? Please?” I pleaded.

They all went silent.

I then looked at Leila, who was also staring at me. “Please? Just let me?” I pleaded once more.

In the end, Leila just gave out a sigh and just shook her head. “Fine,” she said, which was the only cue everyone else was waiting for.

“Okay, Luna, we will,” Sheena said to which the others agreed as well.

That’s when I was able to sigh in relief. At last! Oh gosh. I shook my head and went to get my apron already. I happily helped them and did the things that I was already doing for Lucas even before I became his Luna.

Since it was a special day for Lucas and me, our first official day together, I also made a special dish for him. I even went to serve it to him together with the other omegas.

“What are you doing?” he asked. His arms were crossed on his chest, and he was just looking at me.

I smiled at him and placed the main dish in front of him.

“Yeah, I made this especially for today, with their help, of course,” I proudly said.

A smirk appeared on his lips. He looked at the dish that I made before smiling at me again.

“Thanks, love,” he said. I smiled even more.

“Come, eat already,” I said excitedly.
