“I stand with you on this,” Gabriel stated.

“As do I,” Lucifer held up a single finger.

“And I,” Saraqael said with a bob of his head.

“I too.” Raguel folded his arms.

“If you oppose these terms, rise now and stand before us,” Michael called out, as if he dared any of the angels to stand against him.

But without Uriel with them, whatever followers he’d had remained quiet, accepting their defeat as many of the angels just nodded.

“Great, those in favor then?”

There was a chorus of acceptance of the terms by the crowd, and I shuddered as the reality of it all washed over me.

I’d set my terms, and all of Heaven was accepting it. Which meant it was now time for me to see through my side of the bargain.

I prayed Joshua was right and that I’d know what to do. When he’d said that, I’d been shocked and uneasy, and now the nerves and panic was starting to swell inside me.
