What can I do? Either of our Houses is not a possibility, and bringing her home to the pack is not happening.
ClearHowl is incredibly wealthy. I bet her damn 'brother' could afford to get her a million-dollar penthouse.Pinche pito.
Her stomach growls, and I smack her ass gently. "Up,Conejita. Time for breakfast."

Cassidy
The Alpha-holes have found me. I take a step backward, my omega-wolf cowering from the three large males approaching me. I'm trapped between two cars and the wall of the gas station at my back.
I just wanted to see the wildflowers. I walked around the corner while Carm went inside the station, and here we are. Goddess, help me. My heartbeat speeds up, nerves making the backpack in my hand shake. Can I run into the building before they can get me?
All three are wolves. There's no way I can escape. Terror makes my mouth run dry.
"You're Carm's little piece, ey?" One of them steps forward.
I force myself to meet his eyes. It's not easy when I feel so threatened. His eyes glint at me, teasing but not cruel. I relax a fraction until my gaze swings to the two men standing behind him.
Malicious intent shines in innocuous hazel eyes. I bite back the whimper, stepping backward again. Those two are not nice.
The one in front reaches out a hand. "Hey, we're not going to hurt you,sí? My friend, Isa, saw you, and we thought we'd introduce ourselves."
I look at the female standing far from us all. Her hands are on her hips. She's looking me over with disdain. She didnotwant a friendly introduction, but I relax a little. A female might not stop them from beating me up, but she won't let them... do other things, right?
"You're a cute little thing," the male in the front says. "I'm José, and this is-"
"You must give good ass, puta," the male with the evil in his eyes smirks at me.
My body melts with relief.
"Luis!" the girl cries out from behind the group, but it's too late. Way too late. I don't understand how no one saw him coming, like Thor with his hammer. It's not subtle at all.
Carm picks up the male, I'm guessing Luis, and flips him down on the asphalt, cracking his head. I gasp, horrified as the malicious look on Luis' face immediately goes slack.
The other two males jump onto my mate, each grabbing an arm and pulling, tugging, ripping. The parking lot fills with snarls and growls and the sounds of flesh hitting flesh, clothes tearing, grunts of pain.
My omega wolf flips out. Whining, scratching, terrified. If a wolf can be hysterical, then she is. Her high-pitched yelps hurt my head. It only grows worse when I see the female, Isa, approaching. I ready myself. Teague taught me how to defend myself. It was a complete disaster, but I know some things.
Isa jumps into the fray, not even glancing my way. She can't reach me; maybe that's why she turns on Carmichael. It doesn't do Luis any good. My mate is ignoring the males and female on him, intent on bashing Luis into the ground. Trembling, I sink into a crouch between the two cars, my lower lip trembling.
It's three-on-one, and Carm is going to be hurt. My wolf pushes me, the timid she-wolf determined to help our mate.
My hand lifts my bag, heavy with books, and swings without much thought from me at all. It isn't until I feel the vibrations in my arm and hear the resounding thud of contact that I realize I hit the friendlier male, José.
I hit this male right in the head with my Psychology 101 book.
He falls, dazed, blood immediately flowing from the spot I hit. I must have connected with a corner of the book. It's a hardback. I feel faint. I can't tear my gaze away from the blood. I hit someone. I hurt him.
A whimper explodes from my mouth, followed by a keening wail of panic. I hit him, and he's bleeding.
"I hit him. I'm sorry!" I gasp out. I reach for him, but Carm is there suddenly, blocking me. I look at him wildly. Wasn't he losing? His face is a little bruised, his eyes still dark, but he's standing up, reaching for me, looking perfectly fine and whole.
I back away into the wall, swatting at his hands. I don't want to be touched right now. I hurt someone.
"I'm sorry, I'm so sorry," I keep apologizing, wanting nothing more than to go backward in time and stop myself. I hurt someone.
Carm moves back to me faster, his arms locking around me. I am staring at the bleeding male standing up woozily behind him. I hurt him. "Cassidy,Conejita, shh. Look at me,Bella.Mi Alma, look at me."
