“He didn’t get his pool skills from me. I don’t play, so I’ll be the judge to make sure you both play fair.” His dad says.
“So, what are the girls up to tonight?” I ask him.
“When Brynn found out my mom has never seen Magic Mike, that sealed it, and instead of going to a strip club, they’re watching strippers on TV. I guess, I prefer that than them going in person,” Kade says.
“I will agree with you there,” I tell him.
I don’t like the idea of Brynn at some sleazy strip club, not one bit. Hell, I don’t like the idea of Lin at one either.
“My mom promised not to let them get into too much trouble tonight,” Kade says.
“Well, your mom has been known to get into plenty of trouble all on her own, so don’t let her sweet talk you there.” Kade’s dad says.
As the night goes on, we eat, have a few more rounds of drinks, and enjoy the night.
Nate stops by once he gets off duty, and when he walks in the bar with his police uniform on, everyone freezes, waiting to see who’s in trouble.
“I’m here off duty, just came to celebrate with the groom.” He holds his hands up and laughs.
All in all, it’s a pretty easy-going night as far as bachelor parties go. This is how I want my bachelor party to be. Good friends, great food, and some laughs.

Brynn
“OH MY, GOD!” Kade’s mom screams, as the guys on the screen rip off their clothes. “Why haven’t I seen this before?”
We are holed up in my room, watching Magic Mike, the first and the second one. Jasper made sure the kitchen brought us plenty of food and dessert. I stocked us up with drinks, and we are enjoying the guys on the stage.
“We have to introduce her to Fifty Shades of Gray next,” I say.
“I’m never going to be able to look her in the eye again.” Lin laughs.
“Oh, posh. I was wilder in my younger days. My parents thought I was crazy, when I said I was marrying a rancher and planned to settle down on a ranch in the middle of nowhere. But I knew he was it for me, when I met Kade’s dad. It’s just like Kade knew, when he met you.” She smiles at Lin.
“What kind of trouble did you get into?” I ask.
“Let’s see. A few friends and I always had fun sneaking into bars long before we were old enough. We liked to dance and flirt, and we would lead guys on more than we should have. We’d get in boys’ cars we didn’t know and go for a drive. All the stuff that, as a mom now, makes me cringe.” She says.
“Well, as my mom used to say, it was a different time,” I tell her.
“That it was. Thank God, because it would be a crime not to have these lickable men on TV!”
This is how the night goes, until the guys come knocking on the door. It’s obvious that we had much more to drink than they did. Kade and his dad help his mom and Lin back over to The Sunrise, and Jasper stays behind, leaning against my door frame.
“You guys have fun?” I ask.
“Yeah, we spent the night at The Hummingbird Bar.” He says.
“That’s what Lin said.”
“Heard you had some fun with Magic Mike.” He smirks.
I sigh, “That we did. Those two are all worked up for their men now. Care to come in and take care of me?” I ask, before I can even think about stopping the words from leaving my mouth.
His gaze gets heated, as he rakes his eyes down my body and back up again, before stopping on my face.
“How much have you had to drink tonight, Firefly?”
