“Look at me while I fuck you.” He growled. The bed shook under his weight, causing the lamp on the nightstand to fall over. As it fell, the light flipped on, causing the light from the floor to push forth into the room.

This was no ordinary room that Osirus put us in. I was covered wall to wall with mirrors.

“Kinky-ass fae.” Kane grunted, changing the angle of his thrusts. “I think I’ll enjoy it anyhow.” Watching Kane plummet me from the side mirror, he roared out for me to look at him. His demanding tone had me whimpering. I was helpless beneath him, and it made me feel not vulnerable as one would think. It made me feel powerful.

“Fuck, Clara. You are always so damn tight.” Slapping my thigh, he pulled out of me, causing me to groan in protest. “I’m not done,” Torin’s haggard voice rang through the room. Pulling my ass up, he inserted his cock into me without warning. The sweet intrusion had me pulling him deeper, not wanting to let him go.

“Look up.” Kane growled. My hanging head was heavy, filled with bricks, while the haze of pleasure weighed me down. His shaft grew impossibly more brutal inside me. “Now, or I stop.” He pushed forward again, almost having me lose my balance on my arms.

“Yes, watch me while I conquer you.”

I whined, falling repeatedly. He wasn’t going to stop, was he?

After each orgasm, I watched his determination in the mirror as he pulled on one shoulder and held one hip to get a better grip. His red eyes went brighter as I felt his cock begin to twitch. My nipples felt the soft comforter below me as they swayed to the now sporadic rhythm he played.

“I’m going to come, fuck.” His hair flew from his face, roaring so loudly that I knew the entire palace had to have shaken. His muscles tightened on his chest, his ab muscles glistening with sweat until he put it straight on my back. Rolling me to my side, he kept himself buried deep inside me.

My heat subsided, but we both knew it would only be a matter of an hour until it heated up again. My eyes were forced to close with exhaustion. The fleeting thought of trying to prevent a pregnancy left my mind while Kane began to pump his cock into me again.

His hand came around my side, pulling at my nipple. Grinding my ass back onto him, he growled again. “Kane?” I whispered. His head came around, pulling my chin to look at his handsome face. “Your eyes?” The bright red that shone earlier had now faded, and the coolness of his electric blue shined down on me.

“Your eyes were red,” I whispered as he patted my stomach. “I’ve never seen that before.” Petting his cheek, my hand dropped from the exhaustion. Picking my hand back up, he put it next to his cheek.

“You’re like a drug,” Kane mumbled. “Your smell is intoxicating. I can’t stand it. I need more.” His lips smashed into me. Shrugging my shoulders, my fingers pulled at his hair while he groaned in enjoyment.

It took Melina three days to recover from her wounds. She was lucky that Osirus had such skilled healers in the castle. She was dressed in her perfect gown and walked down the aisle with her father, who I only got to see the back of. I had only helped decorate mating ceremonies in our pack. This ceremony was beyond beautiful and seriously fit for a king and queen.

“That will be you one day,” Kane mentioned as we sat in the very back. We had mated warriors sitting around us as I was in between my heat cycles. I was almost finished. I didn’t feel the roaring heat like I did into the night after Kane took me so quickly.

“And you too, Kane.” I laced my fingers between his. He shook his head and kissed me on the cheek. As we watched, I couldn’t concentrate. The only time I was free of worry was when Kane was taking me over and over in the bedroom.

Raine and Dean were over the moon watching Evelyn. Raine would suit well to be a mother, she had that fun aunt personality, and I’m sure her children would be just as wild and crazy as her.

As the ceremony concluded, the outside reception was bright. Atlanteans came from the sea, riding in large bubble-like carriages to the surface. Blue and green jeweled necklaces allowed them to stay out of the water longer than just twenty-four hours. Sorceress Calista of Atlantis made them just in time for the occasion. She was a powerful undersea sorceress that swore she would never surface again. Her place was down, deep below the waters.

As sirens approached the beach, fae and wolves gathered around the fire away from the party. Mates were made, perfect matches for each other as they ran off into the woods to seal their bonds. It was interesting to see the different species combinations. I laughed, watching two completely different species come together. It was considered unheard of not long ago for it to be very rare to be mated to one of your own kind. Since I arrived in Bergarian, it seemed to be the norm.

“Princess Clara!” Kane had Evelyn in his arms, we were still surrounded by warriors, and they were given explicit instructions for others not to come too close. The man that stood before me wore a deep navy-blue suit; his dark hair had streaks of blue and green. The side of his face held small splotches looking like scales that decorated his eyes. Pearls and shells adorned his neck over the vastly different attire he wore.

“Hello.” I curtsied like my mom taught me. I could feel Kane’s warmth flood through me as I nervously came forward. Our warriors growled in protest as this siren approached. “It’s all right.” I waved them down, but they stood their ground.

“He isn’t mated.” One graciously bowed. “We are sorry; we are trying to stick to Alpha Kane’s orders.” Another woman strolled beside him. A fae with soft, delicate features, a vast difference from the standard sharp features of the fae. “He is my mate. We haven’t solidified the bond yet. I’ve been weak.”

“Oh!” I gasped in surprise. Kane stood beside me, holding me close to his waist. “King Girard and soon-to-be-queen Elaine! I’m so sorry I didn’t recognize you.” Girard waved his hand, the warriors stepping away as Kane nodded to them.

“No worries, it’s been a long time since I’ve been to the surface, let alone let my portrait be taken to the kingdoms. I’ve come to speak with you about urgent matters, nonetheless.” Looking at Kane, I pulled on his arm as Girard led us to a secluded table next to the ocean.

Girard’s feet stayed bare, his feet dipping in the ocean. He let out an audible sigh as he held his soon-to-be mate. “There is disturbance here on the surface.” His voice became hard. “That boy, Esteban, was using deep, dark magic.” I hummed in agreement as Evelyn crawled into my lap. “I’ve seen dark magic, but this magic is different.”

“It’s laced with blood, supernatural blood,” Kane said sternly. “They are experimenting on different blood types to strengthen the dark magic.” Kane growled.

“They are after the dragon shifters’ blood,” I interrupted. “We think they may have already obtained it,” I said. Girard’s fist gently hit the table, his mate rubbing his chest.

“What do we do?” Elaine asked. “How do you know they have it?”

“We were exposed to dark magic recently. I believe it messed with our memories.” I huffed. “My wolf continues to tell me it was white powder thrown at us and an entire battlefield. Whatever it was, it didn’t last long because my memory is slowly coming back. They haven’t found the right concoction of the strongest supernatural’s blood.”

“Has anyone else regained these memories?” Girard asked, leaning over the table. “Or just you?” Kane squeezed my thigh.
