“I’m not putting that in the review,” I protested, laughing.
“Why not?” Ruby piped up.
“Do it!” Minty laughed. “Unless you don’t agree?”
“Oh no,” I shook my head. “I’d bend over for a lot of reasons for that man.”
Ruby laughed, as Minty tapped away on her keyboard.
Mighty Aphrodite has determined that she would indeed bend over for Jace, for pretty well any reason. In fact, she would go so far as to say to all you men lurking behind the scenes to read this book and take notes. Copious notes.
“You’re going to get some poor unsuspecting fool bitch-slapped by his wife,” I said.
“Not if he does it right,” Ruby grumbled.
“Is hunkalicious doing it right?” Minty asked.
“I have no complaints in that regard,” Ruby admitted but something seemed off.
“Going to circle back to that in a minute,” Minty murmured. “How does this sound?”
Learn to read your woman. Listen for the moments when her breath hitches, or she stops breathing altogether, watch her eyes, her hands, the tightening of her mouth. Learn when she pulls away to gentle your touch, or maybe, clamp down and make her take it.
Experiment with touch and teeth.
Take your time, build the need, pull the pleas from her lips.
“Oh, I like that!” I agreed.
“That’s because you love all those shifter and vampire romances. You have a thing for teeth,” Minty teased.
“I have a thing for claiming,” I corrected.
Does your woman want you to claim her, worship her, or both? I don’t know a woman who doesn’t want to feel claimed and protected, but she’s not going to turn herself over to just anyone. Submission is earned, however that submission looks in your relationship.
“Are we in the business of giving relationship advice now?” Ruby asked.
“Whatever works,” Minty dismissed her.
“You have no say, lazybones,” I joked. “You didn’t even read the book!”
“Too busy getting boned,” Minty mused, then turned away from the keyboard. “So, is he dominant in the bedroom as well as the boardroom?”
Ruby blushed bright red, and though she fought the smile threatening to bloom over her face, she lost. Laughing, she admitted, “He is.”
“Oh, yay!” Minty clapped her hands. “Give me more. Tattoos? Piercings?”
“No piercings, his illustrious penis requires no embellishment,” Ruby stated.
I raised my wine glass. I was on my third and my lips were beginning to loosen up. “I agree. I love the penis.”
“Aren’t you curious about how a piercing would feel, though?” Minty asked. “I think that would be crazy.” She thought for a minute. “Except in my throat. I wouldn’t want to swallow around that.”
“It’s a choking hazard,” I snorted.
“Can you imagine showing up in emerg with your man’s piercing stuck in your esophagus?” Ruby mused.
“No, definitely not. But surely they don’t fall out that easily?”
