real life and it wasn’t just a dream or a fantasy.
After getting married in New York with their family and friends around
them to celebrate their amazing day, they’d flown back to Austin to get
Chloe settled with Taylor’s parents on the farm. They’d taken a few extra
days to make sure that both their businesses were doing fine, even though
they’d planned meticulously to be gone for two weeks.
Neither of them
could resist checking in.
They’d landed in Mexico for a week-long honeymoon just two hours
ago. After their week away, they’d head back to Austin, spent a couple days
on the farm with Chloe, then resumed their regular life. Although, even that
would change. Christina glowed with her secret. Well, hers and Taylor’s.
They hadn’t told anyone that they were going through In-vitro just in case it
didn’t work out. Christina was now just about three months pregnant, and
when they got home, they’d give everyone the happy news.
“Wow!” Taylor exclaimed over the beautiful room they’d just walked
into. The resort was five star and the room, with the red tiled floors, the
spacious bathroom, the huge king bed, and a great view of the beach, the
ocean, and towering palm trees, definitely fit the bill.
Christina wheeled in her bag and set it next to Taylor’s. She felt like
she’d been glowing since their wedding, but being away with Taylor, just
the two of them, made her tempted to spend the entire honeymoon inside.
As if Taylor knew what Christina was thinking, she rushed across the
room, away from the huge sliding glass door. Christina met her and they
collided in a tangle of arms, eager lips, hands tearing off clothing.
Christina giggled as their teeth just about knocked together as their lips
frantically met. She tempered her excitement just a little. Taylor was now
her wife. It was so wonderful to think that word. Wife. They now belonged
to each other officially— body, heart, and soul.
