"You love to be a pervert," I said as I clicked on some random menu items and sent the order to the kitchen at the touch of a button. "He said he loved me," I blurted out. "In front of Amadeo."

Six's jaw dropped. "Fuck. Holy fuck!" he said as he laughed so hard he wrapped an arm around his stomach. "I never would have expected that from you two. Fucking I can see, but he's in love?"

"I'm as shocked as you are," I said, my face burning up as I flipped Six off. "Stop acting like an asshole already."

He grinned. "Hey, I'm happy for you," he said as he turned serious. "No, really. If anyone deserves to have someone on their side, it's you. And Gabriele Bianchi is pretty fucking hot."

"You just want your boyfriend to kill you, right? That's your whole thing?"

Six chuckled. "Every time he's jealous, he fucks me a hell of a lot harder and doesn't hold back." He winked. "I'm into it."

"I'm sure you are," I sighed as I pinched the bridge of my nose. "Freak."

"Says the one with a collar around his neck," Six said as someone walked over and dropped off two bottles of water. He picked his up and unscrewed the cap as he gazed over the top of it at me.

I wanted to sink underneath the table and hide. But Six would only make fun of me more. Instead, I shoved the bottle of water against my mouth and took a long, deep chug. The collar felt even heavier around my throat. If I took it off for a second, Gabriele wouldn't know. I reached up and touched it.

"Don't even think about it," Gabriele growled as he stormed over and yanked my hand away. "Didn't I tell you not to toy with that?"

I jumped. "I wasn't going to take it off."

"Yes, he was," Six said. "I saw him tugging at it."

My eyes bugged out of my head. "What the shit? Six!"

He smirked at me, but I didn't have time to look at him. Gabriele grabbed my cheeks and forced me to look up at him. "You've earned yourself another punishment tonight." A man came out and sat muffins on the table. Gabriele took one before he released my cheeks. "I'm going back into my meeting. Behave, cane."

"Yes, sir," I said on an exhale.

Gabriele grinned at me. "Good boy."

He ran his fingers through my hair before he walked back into the house. I reached up and touched where his hand had lingered. Before we'd left my place, I had tried to put it up into a bun, but he wouldn't let me. I think he has a thing for it down.

I blinked and realized I'd been staring after him for a long time. When I glanced at Six, there was a grin on his face. I cracked my knuckles.

"I'm going to kick your ass."

Six threw his head back and laughed. "I wouldn't recommend it," he said. "You'll be the one that gets in trouble."

I groaned and shoved back against my seat. Shit, he's right. If I did anything to Six Amadeo would definitely try to murder me.

"All I did was give you a little more fun for later. You're welcome." Food was brought in and we paused long enough to dig in. I'd ordered a bunch of baked chicken, pasta, and vegetables while Six had a bowl of mac and cheese. Once we dug in, he pointed his fork at me. "Do you love him?"

I nearly choked on a piece of chicken. I pounded my chest until it rolled down my throat and stared at Six. He looked back at me expectantly.

"Um, I uh-"

"You didn't say it back," he said after a minute. He frowned. "And Gabriele was...cool with that?"

It was my turn to frown. He hadn't said anything, but now that I thought about it I wasn't sure how Gabriele felt. When he brushed it off, we hadn't had time to go into depth with the conversation.

How do I feel about him?

I cared. That much I knew. Gabriele pissed me off and I wanted him to shut the hell up most times, but damn did I not want to be away from him. Every time I thought about him leaving me on my own, I felt like I was about to explode.

"Yo, pay attention," Six called as he snapped his fingers in front of my face. "Do you love him or not?"

"I don't know, okay?" I said as I went back to eating. "I'm still figuring it out."
