“Hey little wolf…” I hear Alec say as he walks out the room with the phone up to his ear and a huge grin on his face.

I didn’t think he even knew how to smile.

“Well you’re gonna need me,” Franny says and immediately Tanner and Ivan growl.

“No way! You’re pregnant! You’re staying behind!” Tanner shouts, but the little Mage isn’t budging.

“If you think I don’t know I’m pregnant then you’re even dumber than you look right now throwing some macho fit,” she tells him, her finger right up in his face. “I’m the only Mage we have which means I’m the only one that can find the damn place and I’m the only one that can unbind the Mage they have imprisoned so suck it up because I’m going.”

“I hate the idea of putting your mate in danger Tanner but she’s right, we need her if we have a chance of rescuing Jade,” Bellamy tells his friend with a regretful sigh.

“I’m sorry Franny, but if anything happened to you I don’t know what I’d do,” Tanner pleads, taking her hand in his and kissing the back of it sweetly. Witnessing that only makes me miss Jade more.

“Hey I want you, Axel, and River up here pronto, the others can watch the kids, no Doc can come up after if we need him. Yeah love you too Fido, see you soon,” Dell says hanging up the phone, she must have pulled it out when I wasn’t looking. “Reinforcements. They may be a pain in my ass, but they’re good in a fight,” she says with a shrug.

At this point I won’t say no to more help, I need to get Jade back. I don’t even know what’s going on with her and our baby because our bond is basically muted.

I hate those fucking witches.

“Hey, what’s with the party in the office? Where’s Jade? I thought she was on bed rest,” Jace comments coming into the office and plopping down on the couch.

“Before I tell you I need you to promise that you won’t freak out because we have a plan, right everyone,” I say, and everyone looks away but mumbles in agreement that we have some kind of plan.

“What’s going on Si?” Jace growls sitting forward on the couch looking about ready to spring forward.

“Jade was taken last night by the Black Coven,” I say, pausing for him to react.

“I’m going to fucking kill them!” he shouts, jumping up and heading towards the door as if he’s just gonna walk in and murder a bunch of witches. It’s hard not to roll my eyes. I mean it’s not like determination alone will make it possible for him to find the place on his own, it’s magically cloaked and he knows that.

“Jace!” I shout when he makes it to the door. He turns around and glares at me but listens. “I know you’re pissed we all are, but we need a plan, you can’t go off on your own and expect to win against the Black Coven, you know this. Just take a breath and listen to the plan, please. You can murder people later, I’m sure Dell would love the help,” I tell him, pointing to Dell who is smirking as she plays with her dagger once more.

“As long as you don’t get in the way, you’re welcome to my scraps,” she says, and I’m pretty sure she isn’t joking.

“Tanner stop being a dick, I’m a fucking Mage, I have more power than your tiny brain can comprehend,” Franny tells him, apparently still arguing about her part in all this.

“Renzo protect Franny,” the big green guy says glaring at Tanner. I have no clue where Ivan is at the moment but he’s missing out on Family Feud monster edition.

“Hey Dell, Sam is sending you the map because your phone is better, or so he keeps reminding me,” he says with a happy sigh entering the room once more.

I think my head is going to explode.

“Why don’t you hook your phone up to the projector and that way we won’t all be fighting to see the map,” Bellamy gets up, grabs the remote and pushes a few buttons. In the next second the screen comes down and the projector pops out of its hidden place in one of the bookshelves. It was actually Jace’s idea not to mess up the aesthetic or something like that.

“Oh I want one of those in my house,” Dell says, handing over the phone for Bell to hook up.

“You don’t have a library or an office,” Alec informs her.

“But big brother it’s like spy shit, I need it,” she tells him but he just shakes his head.

A few seconds later Bell hits the remote again and the lights dim so we can see the map of the witch's compound. My eyes widen when I find myself staring at a very naked mate of Dell’s tied to a bed.

“Shit, you didn’t see that,” she says, swiping on her phone until we see a hand drawn map. The compound is even bigger than I thought when we escaped with out buildings everywhere.

“Girl did he have his down town pierced?” Franny asks curiously.

“Don’t even look at me, I’m not piercing my dick,” Tanner states.

“Yep,” Dell tells her, giving her a little wink.
