“Fuck,” Bellamy groans bringing my attention back to the here and now.

“Feel okay?” I ask looking past Silas’ shoulder so I can see for myself that he’s okay.

“I’m not sure what to feel right now. I had an amazing orgasm and slept better than I have in years, and all because Darius bit me.” He pauses, running a hand across his face and lets out a breath. “It was nothing like what I experienced before, and I’m not sure if I’m completely past everything regarding vampires but it was a big step in the right direction and I owe it all to you. Not only are you the most beautiful mate in the world, but you’re kind and supportive. You give more than anyone I know and I’m so grateful for you,” he tells me as tears fall freely from my eyes watching him cry openly with a smile on his face.

“No wonder she purrs so much for you. Spouting off so much sweet shit all the time, I think my teeth hurt,” Jace groans from the other side of me.

“Jace you’re starting to sound like Mila,” Silas comments with a yawn, rolling over on his back.

They’re all smiling as they joke with one another and that just makes me cry more, or maybe it’s the baby. Either way the tears stream down my face and all the smiles fall.

“You made her cry,” Jace accuses, pulling me into his arms and holding me tightly until I can get myself back in control.

“I’m sorry I just never thought I’d have a family and the baby is jacking up my hormones so I can’t stop crying even though I’m not sad,” I blubber against his strong shoulder.

“It’s okay baby, we’ve got you,” Silas whispers in my ear, as I feel his big warm hand rub gently up and down my spine.

“We love you,” Bellamy comments, scooting across the bed to join the little huddle around me.

“I feel ridiculous,” I cry, not able to stop.

“Maybe it’s a good thing that this pregnancy is magically sped up? Nine months like this sounds horrible doesn’t it sweetness,” Jace teases, and the other two groan but it actually makes me chuckle.

“I think me and nugget are ready for breakfast,” I tell them, pulling back from Jace’s embrace. They’re all frozen looking at me like they’re afraid to say anything that might set me off again and for some reason the thought makes me laugh.

Three strong wolf shifters afraid of me and my tears.

“Anything you want, beautiful,” Bellamy says, the first to shake off the weird frozen stature.

“French toast, and scrambled eggs, and bacon… umm and ice cream,” I tell them, my mouth watering just from the thought of all that good food.

“Damn, I want that too! Am I pregnant?” Jace jokes or at least I think he’s joking, his face is perfectly serious.

“Stop it you dumbass, and go help Bellamy make our mate breakfast,” Silas tells him with a sigh.

“What are you going to do, Alpha?” Jace snarks as he gets out of the bed, careful not to disturb Darius. I could’ve told them that nothing will wake him until he’s ready, but it was nice to see them being caring towards him.

“I’m going to help Jade find her clothes and get our vampire safely tucked away for the day,” he states, giving his Betas a look that says get the hell to work.

“Okay fine,” Jace says, a fake pout on his lips as he walks out the door naked. Bellamy follows him out with shorts on, shaking his head at his friends' antics.

“You know when I first met Jace I didn’t think that he’d be this playful,” I ponder.

“He’s usually a lot more serious and he probably still will be around the pack, but somehow you make him feel like he can just be himself; goofiness and all. It’s actually refreshing to see,” Silas tells me as he helps me out of the big bed.

As soon as my toes hit the cool carpet I feel the urge to pee. Taking off on a quick walk I roll my eyes as Silas chuckles behind me. He has no idea what it’s like to have a person pushing on your bladder. I make it just in the nick of time and quickly do my business before washing my hands and face.

For a second I wonder looking in the mirror if this is the one that Silas punched and if so how the hell did they get it fixed so quickly? My stomach distracts me though as it growls loudly begging for food. Forgetting my thoughts about the mirror entirely I walk out into the room just in time to see Silas getting Darius settled in the center of the bed with the blankets tucked tightly around him.

“Thank you,” I say, walking up and plastering myself to his back.

“You’re welcome, but for what exactly?” he comments, spinning around to look at me.

“For taking care of Dar,” I tell him.

“He’s family now, I’ll always take care of him if he needs it,” he explains as if it's just common knowledge.

“I know that having a vampire makes things a little more challenging—”
