Hayden: As I said, we will go slow. And we will do any and everything you want.
Feeling more confident, Sapphire straightened and looked at her reflection. They wanted her, she told herself and immediately smiled. Maybe a little too much, judging by the hard press of each of them she had felt against her last night. Grabbing her blue zip-up short-sleeve hoodie dress, she zipped it up and gave her hair a considering look before deciding to just leave it down.
Showered, shaved, and oiled, she wondered how long it would take before they reached for her.
Her stomach flipped a little at that. Padding out of the bathroom barefoot, she stopped at the top of the stairs and inhaled the smell of freshly brewed coffee.
They were definitely awake.
Taking the stairs slowly, Sapphire couldn’t help but hold her breath as she made her way down. Sitting at the table wearing a pair of lounge pants and a plain black t-shirt, Hayden was spinning a fork impatiently in his hand when he looked up to see her.
Any doubt of him still wanting her faded at the hungry look in his grey eyes.
Standing with his back to her at the counter, Joel was wearing only a pair of basketball shorts and no shirt. For a moment, she just watched the beautiful dance of his back muscles work as he reached and poured the coffee into the cups. But the display didn't last long. As if sensing her presence, Joel turned and looked at her, his bright aqua eyes filling with predatory delight at the sight of her.
"Hey there." He smiled lazily. "If you waited any longer, I was gonna come to you."
Tilting her head, Sapphire reached for the back of the chair in front of her and ran her fingers across the smooth wood. "Oh really?" She asked playfully. "Well, that sounds convenient because I hate the sound of my alarm anyways. You waking me up sounds much better."
Joel's smile widened. Turning around, he held a tall glass with a foamy white top with caramel drizzled along the edges of the drink. "Don't tempt me, sweetheart. I would have a very special way of waking you up."
Heat crawled up her cheeks. Glancing at Hayden was no help at all. With the same untamed look, he stared back at her just as boldly as Joel.
Unable to withstand their heated gazes any longer, Sapphire looked away. Pulling at the chair in front of her, she froze at the sudden grip on her wrist. Her eyes followed the sight of his large hand down his arm and up the large round of his shoulder until she met Hayden's iron gaze. Without a word, he pulled her gently toward him and away from the chair until she felt the firm press of his thighs on the back of hers. In a blink, her bottom was nestled comfortably in his lap.
Unsure where to look, Sapphire looked from Hayden's face inches away from hers to Joel sitting on the other side of the table. There was a simmering possessiveness in both of their eyes that made her pulse race.
Like the need to gasp for air, Sapphire searched for something to break the heavy feeling dragging her under.
She gave them a wicked little smile just as Joel took a sip of his coffee and finally replied. "I'm not sure I would enjoy waking up to dick."
Joel choked on the hot liquid, setting the cup down with a clatter. His face mutated from one of pain and laughter as he wiped up some of the coffee he spit out. "I never said that," his hoarse voice only made Sapphire laugh more.
"That wasn't what you meant?" she prodded.
Wiping the last of the coffee from the table with a stray napkin, Joel looked back up at her, his eyes serious now. "No, I'm a gentleman—I would have woken you up with my tongue."
And she was back. It was as if they sensed her trying to gather herself and take a breath above the surface of their heavy desire surrounding her and were committed to dragging her back down.
Looking at Joel, Sapphire could only stare back unmoving. Images of him slipping into her room, pulling back her covers, and parting her thighs wracked her mind causing her to tingle all over.
Hayden's tightening grip on her hips only added fuel to the warm feeling washing over her body.
"Besides," Hayden began, the deep tenor of his voice just inches above her ear, sending goosebumps through her, "it's all about whose dick is doing the waking."
Shifting on his lap, Sapphire could feel the rising press of him against her legs. Twisting slightly until her chest faced him, she looked at Hayden. Behind him, the bright morning light filtered in around them, making the room glow. It was beautiful here. It was beautiful right here with these two. Slowly the overwhelming feeling eased out of her as she sank further and further into the reality of the situation. It was just the three of them now. No judgment and no misunderstandings—just two men she wanted to spend the rest of her life with.
She reached up and cupped Hayden's face, enjoying the way his eyes widened a fraction. "Is that how you would wake me up?" she asked, running her fingers through the shaggy hair.
Closing his eyes, he answered. "Yes."
She could hear the hunger in his voice, and her lips tingled with expectation. Dropping her hands to his shoulders, she waited for him to open his eyes. Like grey marbles with storms forever trapped inside, he looked at her, and she instinctively tilted her head for his kiss.
His eyes flicked between her mouth and back to hers. Finally, he spoke. "You hungry?"
Sapphire narrowed her eyes. "No."
She was too amped up to eat, to even think about eating. She wanted them to touch her, to kiss her again like last night. She wanted to feel that exhilarating pulse between her legs as they devoured her mouth, their big hard bodies promising more to come.
