"Wha-"Her words were lost in her throat as the hot pressure of his mouth came down onthe hollow of her throat.
Lettingout another inhuman groan, Zach ran his sharp teeth slowly up the column of herneck before letting his hot tongue soothe over the stinging spots he left. Herfear was washed away by the resurgence of desire he stoked within her. Grindinghis knee at the throbbing spot between her legs, she let the thick haze ofheated delirium take her wherever he wanted to go, letting her ignore thebright glow of his eyes as he pulled back from her neck to drink from her lipsagain. Her moans synced with his deepening growls that reverberated betweenthem. Even as the hot flesh of his back grew hotter and coarser with hair thatshe never noticed before, she ignored it all, sinking herself further into hiskiss as her arms tightened around his neck.
"Zach,"the sudden angry hiss of his name stilled them both.
Slidinghis hand up from her back, he pushed her head into the hollow of his neck, cutting off her view from behind them as well as him. Hidden in darkness, shestilled against him and listened as he tensed around her.
"What?"He practically barked.
"Comeon," the voice was male and sounded young, but it was completelyunfamiliar to her. "I can't cover for you any longer."
Withone strap of her swimsuit pushed down, pressed against a boy she only met weeksago, she would have thought she would be hit with a flood of embarrassment atthis moment. But she wasn’t. For some reason, she felt completely safe tuckedaway in his arms. The pressure of his hand wrapped around her waist and theother holding her head protectively down against his shoulder allowed her tocontinue to ignore the outside world.
Turninghis head further away from her, he yelled back to the person on the other sideof the rocks. "Fine, I'll be…son of a bi-," his words brokeoff in a heated hiss as Sana boldly let her own teeth scrape against the hotskin of his neck.
Grabbinga fist full of her long hair, Zach gently pulled her head back and gave her ashocked but appreciative look before meeting her lips with his own in a searingkiss.
"Zach!"The boy from the other side snapped in warning as if knowing exactly howsidetracked Zach was.
Shudderingwith angry frustration, Zach ripped away from their kiss and barked back."Fine! We will be there in a sec."
Raisingboth hands to his face, Sana let her hands glide across his smooth cheeks."I don't want this to end," she admitted, not able to keep a sheepishlook from creeping into her eyes at the bold statement.
"Please, baby," he groaned deeply. Leaning his forehead down until it touched hers,he gave her a desperate look as his eyes drifted from hers to the still exposedtops of her breasts. "Don’t look at me like that. I'm so close to riskingeverything for you right now. Right here against this goddamn rock," hepanted heavily, his eyes flashing with painful need. "I'm barely hangingon."
Smilingat his admission, Sana leaned forward and gave him a soft peck against hislips, savoring the firm press of them against her own. "Ok then, let's goback before we both get in trouble."
Afterthat day at the beach, each day of her summer vacation was even morebreathtaking than the last. The afternoons spent at her house were filled withheart-racing suspense as Zach walked the line of potential disaster. Havinggrown used to the two boys that had invaded their children's summer vacation, her parents had grown inattentive in their initial caution to the wild youngman with the unnerving golden gaze. When they passed by, they simply saw himlounging quietly as Sana guided both Kamal and Elijah through their summerhomework, they never witnessed the dark and heady looks of impatience heblatantly gave as he waited for her tutoring lessons to end. Her parents onlyever witnessed the boy chat politely to their daughter with only a casual airfriendliness if not a sometimes bored look, they never saw his wandering handsslip beneath her skirt to caress her thigh or the hungry kisses he stole whenno one was looking. The reckless game he played was tiring and nerve-wracking.Sana lived on edge at the thought of one of her parents or grandparentswitnessing his touches, but nothing she said or did stopped Zach. Her whisperedpleas were lost within his lips, and her sly retreats were outmaneuvered by hisstrong hands. If she tried to sit further away, he would simply smile and playalong until she grew confident and relaxed that she had won, and sooner orlater, she found herself pressed against him with a gasp and remindedthoroughly that there was no escape.
Onone of the rare occasions she was allowed to spend her afternoon free frombabysitting her brother, Sana needed only to take a few steps down the roadaway from her grandparents' house before Zach was at her side. Following himthrough the back trails near the forest that led to the backside of downtown,he guided her to their favorite spot, the hardware store's roof. Spreading thepicnic blanket he stored up there, they sat with the large air-conditioningunit to their back, shielding them from anybody out front who looked up to theshort one-story building's roof.
Withher bottom nestled in the space of his crossed legs, Sana turned and gave him ashy smile as he leaned back comfortably against the AC unit.
"Inthe future, we won't have to hide like this," he murmured, pulling herchin towards him until their lips met in a breathless kiss.
"Future? You see a future with me?" She asked, her chest was too tight with hope toproperly speak.
"Mmmmm,I do."
"Butyou will be a senior this year…surely you will get a girlfriend." Evensaying the words felt like knives into her heart. She knew it was foolish. Sheknew that it was unreasonable to expect a handsome boy like this to be solelyhers from one state away, but it hurt so much to think of him touching andkissing another girl.
Zachlaughed. "I will be a senior, but I won't get a girlfriend,"
"Why?"
"Becauseyou're mine, and that's all I need," he answered matter-of-factly,
Areckless part of herself couldn't help but play with fire. Looking away for amoment, she lifted one eyebrow as if considering an interesting thought."And what if I get a boyfriend?"
Zach'seyes narrowed dangerously. "Then I will remind you quite thoroughly whoyou belong to. But I won't need to do that, will I Sana?"
Swallowing, she thought of the boys that went to her high school in comparison to Zach—itwas laughable. Wrapping her arms around his neck, she shook her head. "No,you won't need to."
Givingher a carnivorous smile, he dipped his head back to her lips and drank in hersatisfied moan.
Afaint beeping vibrated from Zach's pocket, breaking the moment between them.Groaning, Zach reached into his jean pocket with his other hand. Glancing athis phone, he swiped at the screen before shoving the device back into hispocket. Lifting her up first, he stood up behind her.
"Timeto go."
