"Yea. She has been asking to go horseback riding, so I was thinking of buying her a farm with animals there. Alexander would also be able to go there with her."
I chuckle and say, “I think they would like that. Thalia has been asking for a pet.”
“Jane could also go with them.”
Jane is Cole and Layna's daughter. Layna was pregnant with Jane a year after I regained my memory. After Layna and Cole got married they decided ton start trying for a baby.
I turn around to face Ace after turning the stove off and putting the food on a plate.
"You know I was just thinking about how we first met before you came in here," I state.
"Mmm. What were you thinking about?" Ace leans closer to me and presses his hips against mine.
"How much of an ass you were," I remark and chuckle, making Ace slap my ass.
"Careful. You married this asshole, remember."
I smile up at Ace. "I did and I don't regret it for a second," I say and pull Ace closer to me. "My favorite memory was meeting you. Even though you were a jerk when I first met you."
"You like it," Ace says before leaning down and capturing my lips with his.
Thirty Three
TWO MONTHS LATER
I wokeup this morning to the sound of objects falling. It sounded like metal pans.
I sat up in Ace and I's bed and look around the room.
Where the hell is he?
I get out of bed and go to the bathroom to brush my teeth before going downstairs. I heard a bunch of soft giggling and the smell of food. I follow the scent and go inside the kitchen.
Ace was cooking something in a pan while Thalia was on the floor picking up pans. Thalia looked up and I saw that beautiful bright smile she always had on her face.
"Mommy!" Thalia stood up and ran towards me and hugged my bare legs.
I only had shorts and a tank top on.
Since my bump is getting bigger most of my clothes aren’t fitting.
I leaned down and grabbed Thalia in my arms and sat her on the side of my hip.
"Hi, baby. What are you guys doing?" I walk further inside the kitchen and Ace turned his head and smiles once he saw me.
"Well, we were trying to surprise you with a breakfast-"
"But daddy ruined it." Thalia pouted cutting Ace off.
"How did I ruin it,principessa?” Ace looked at Thalia.
"You made things drop." Thalia motioned her hands to the fallen pans.
Ace let out a small chuckle and walked towards me. He leaned towards my lips and placed them on mine.
"Happy Birthday." He mumbled against my lips.
"Ew. Yucky. Stop!" Thalia said stoping Ace and me from kissing.
