I roll my eyes at her. "Thank you." I chuckled to Ace and looked at Thalia. "And you missy are gonna soon have a boyfriend so why are you saying yucky?"

"I'm not gonna have a boyfriend. Boys have cooties. Well except Alexander. Jane and I are fine with him playing with us." Thalia said but then a sad smile appears on her face. “Do you think that’s why Alexander won’t play with me anymore?’

My heart breaks for Thalia.

Ever since their fifth birthday Alexander hasn’t been talking to Thalia that much which makes Thalia sad. It weird because they were so close.

“Nola mia principess. Boys are just stupid.” Ace kisses her cheek.

"What are you cooking?" I looked over his shoulder and saw cut up sausages.

"Nope. It's still your birthdayamore. This was supposed to be a surprise. Thalia go distract her." Thalia laughs at her dad and nodded her head. I “put her down and she grabs my hand before pulling me towards the living room. “Don't give her the present yet Thalia!" We heard Ace yell.

"Alright!" Thalia yelled back and then she took me to the living room. She sat down on the couch and I went next to her sat laid my head on her lap. "What movie do you wanna watch mommy?" Thalia asked.

"You pick," I said as I grabbed the remote.

“Lady and the Tramp!” Thalia yelled jumping up and down.

I laughed and scrolled through the lists of movies and finally found Lady and the Tramp.

Thalia loved watching this movie. She even had this cute Tramp stuff animal.

Eventually, I heard Ace called me and Thalia to the dining room so I stood up and grabbed Thalia off the couch. Once we got inside the dining room I placed Thalia in her chair and then sat next to Ace.

He made banana pancakes which were my fav. He even placed small strawberries so that I could put them on the pancakes.

"It looks good." I complimented.

Ace leaned towards my side and kissed me on the cheek making me blush. It's crazy how I still get butterflies and flushed cheeks from him.

It feels like just yesterday he kidnapped me. Not the best way to meet someone but I wouldn't trade that moment if I knew I wouldn't have Ace in my life.

Thalia ate her pancakes quietly as Ace and I held a light conversation. Our conversations never got boring or old.

"When can we give her the gift daddy?" Thalia whined.

"You wanna give it to her now?" Ace asked Thalia and she nodded her head. She had syrup all over her mouth. Ace shook his head and leaned towards her and wiped the syrup off her mouth. "Go get it,principessa.” Ace said once all the syrup was off her mouth.

Thalia jumped off the chair and left the kitchen. I raise an eyebrow at Ace and he just smirked while stuffing a pancake in his mouth. Thalia soon comes back running in with an envelope and box.

Thalia climbed onto her dad's lap and put the envelope on the table along with the box.

"Open the box first." Ace said.

I looked at both of them and grabbed the box. I take the top off the box and see a necklace.

It had the letters A and T.

Ace and Thalia.

"Thalia picked out the letter designs and font.” Ace smiled at Thalia making her blush a little.

"Thank you, baby," I said to Thalia.

"It's not done yet. Look in the envelope! Look in the envelope!" Thalia said as she bounced up and down.

I took the envelope and opened it.
