The car stops and I hear more guns clicking as two of my men in the front point their guns at Aria.
"Put your fucking guns down," I order my men and they widen their eyes at me.
"But sir-"
"Put your fucking guns down! Now!" I yell at them, and they slowly drop their guns. "Drive to the airport and close the divider. If you hear anything you don't like, don't stop fucking driving," I say to them before looking back at Aria. She doesn't look the same. She is staring at me as if she has never met me before. She doesn't even look like my Aria when she is staring at me like that. "Aria,amore,put the gun down."
"No," she says as she tightens her grip on the gun.
What the fuck is wrong with her?
What did Dante do to make her turn against me like this?
"Aria, put the gun down. I'm not going to hurt you."
"How do I know that? I don't even know you."
"Yes, you do," I say while clenching my jaw. "I don't know what Dante did to you but-"
"How do you know Dante?" Aria asks but her tone makes me think she is scared.
"Aria, I know you. You know me."
"Who are you? I don't know you."
"I'm your fucking fiancé," I say while trying my best not to yell at her.
Aria furrows her eyebrows at me.
She looks very confused.
What the fuck did that crazy-ass do to her?
"What's your name?"
I clench my fist and try my best not to get frustrated with her.
"Ace. Ace De Luca."
"Ace," Aria repeats, and then she loosens her grip on the gun and lowers it. "Ace De Luca."
"I can and will explain everything to you, but you need to put the gun down, Aria." Aria seems super hesitant to put the gun down, but she does. I put my hand out to her and she gives the gun to me before I put it in my trousers. "I need you to trust me."
"That will never happen," Aria says before leaning back in her seat.
Nine
We are nowon the plane.
Once we got here Aria went straight to the bedroom that is down the hall of the plane. Leo met up with us and he looked like shit.
He tried to get all of our men out of there before leaving the estate. He is the one who activated all of the bombs.
I asked him where Dante was, and he said that our men were going to take the plane with all of the other men. I told him that I wanted Dante near me, but Leo said it wouldn't be a good idea if we kept Dante on the plane with us especially since Aria is on the same plane.
Alex is also here. While I was getting Aria and taking her to the car, he was helping Leo try to get as many of my men out of the estate as possible while also killing anyone who didn't need to be here. Cole was here as well because he is Alex's second in command so of course he is going to help, especially since it's Aria.
The girls are at the house relaxing. Layna is watching Thalia for me with Emma, so I feel good knowing that Layna is taking good care of Thalia. Lana is also at the house helping out.
