“Well, you know. Alien.” Justin chuckled, then stepped away and Eteriion missed his closeness. “Anyway, it snowed. A lot, and we’re stuck.”
“Let me freshen up and I’ll check our supplies. We’ll be here for a few days. The town will be the priority, then they’ll clear up here. We’re the only ones here right now.”
“Okay.” Justin licked his lips, then pointed his thumb over his shoulder back toward his cabin. “I’ll be there.” Eteriion watched him walk and slide back to his cabin through the tunnel he’d spent a couple of days digging then went back to his own, his tentacles helping him.
“That isn’t fair!” Justin shouted.
Grinning, Eteriion shouted back, “If you had them, you’d use them too.”
“Er, human here! I don’t come with extra bits waving from my head!”
Chuckling, Eteriion entered his cabin and shut the door, then ran to the back to check his supplies. He always made sure to keep stocked up, and he sighed in relief when he saw the wood and oil he had. Next was food, and seeing he was good there, he made sure the generator was running and had a quick, hot shower. Once he’d finished, he dressed in warm clothes and left for Justin’s.
When he reached the cabin, he knocked on the door and entered. The place was noticeably cooler than his own cabin. “Justin?”
“In the back. I can’t get the generator to work.” Eteriion walked over to the room the generator was housed in and stopped when Justin gasped. “Shit. I forgot about them.”
“Medusa.”
Justin blinked then nodded. “I can see it. Any ideas on how to make this work?”
“Maybe. Let me have a look.” Eteriion went through all the checks he knew but couldn’t get it started. “There’s plenty of fuel in it and nothing appears broken.” Justin stood and rubbed his arms. “Gather your things and you can stay at my place. My generator is running and if we move your logs over, we’ll be able to keep the fire going as well.”
Justin simply stared at him. “Me. Your place.”
“Yes. If I was going to hurt you, I would have done it as I had you bent over the table.”
“Do you have to remind me I had alien sex?”
“Good alien sex.” Eteriion grinned, then let it slide from his face when he saw the look on Justin’s.
Justin opened and closed his mouth a few times, then shook his head and pushed past Eteriion. “It’s been a long time.”
“Same.” Eteriion shut the door to the generator and watched Justin pace the kitchen. “I wanted to tell you, but I knew this was how you would react.”
“So, you fucked me on the sly.” Justin put his hands on his hips and glared at Eteriion.
Justin had a point, but Eteriion needed to explain why. “I’m sorry I hid who I am from you, but if you were in my position, you would have done the same. Think about it. Would we have had sex if you knew what I am? No, you would have left, maybe even told the authorities about me.”
Justin narrowed his eyes at Eteriion, then stormed across the room to his bedroom. Eteriion exhaled slowly and followed at a much slower pace. When he reached the door, he watched Justin throw his clothes in a bag. “It makes sense to stay at yours. Can you please get the food?” Justin carried on throwing his things in his bag and ignoring Eteriion.
Nodding, Eteriion did what Justin asked, then stood waiting by the front door. He could hear Justin mutter to himself and had to suppress a smile when he heard, “I can’t believe I’m going to live with the alien who has a great dick. Now I’m thinking about an alien’s dick. Why does he have to be so fucking hot?”
Walking out of his bedroom, Justin slowed when he noticed Eteriion, then sped up and walked past him. Following, Eteriion closed the door to Justin’s cabin. “This will be fun,” he hoped.
Chapter Nine
Justin couldn’t stop watching Eteriion. It was like his eyes were glued to him and his tentacles, and eyes, and the hot body Justin wanted to feel on his own again. Gritting his teeth, he jerked his eyes away and stared into the fire. No. He wasn’t having hot alien sex. He was going to ignore his arousal and pretend the hot alien wasn’t so hot.
“As we’re being open and honest, I should let you know I can scent your arousal.”
“For fuck’s sake. You can tell I want you to fuck me?”
“You do?”
His fucking mouth… “Nope. Not at all. Forget I said anything.” But it was hard to ignore the smile on Eteriion’s face that made Justin’s heart speed up. Or the way it made Justin feel to see Eteriion happy. “Fine, I do, but it won’t happen.”
“But you like me. The first human I find myself attracted to, and he likes me.” That sentence made Justin’s chest tighten. What must it be like to live on another planet, all alone? So far from home with little chance of returning. Eteriion had mentioned the issue with fuel and how he might never leaveEarth. What did it hurt to be honest? He would be leaving at some point, and Eteriion would be alone again.
