His words made the corner of my lips tug up. Of course Finn was only thinking about the benefit of his child. It was a nice dream, though. Raising this kid with Finn and having more in the future. I wasn't sure how likely it was, but I wanted a future like that.

“I can't wait to show them all The Lion King!” Finn said with a grin.

“Yeah, me too.”

Finn went on to work on my Dumbo drawing. “I like Skylar,” he said, almost like an afterthought. “My kid should always reach for the sky.”

“Like his daddy?” I joked.

Finn stuck his tongue out at me. “Worked for me, didn't it?”

We don't know that, yet.I stopped myself from saying that, remembering to be supportive. “I like that you reach for the sky,” I said instead. “And Skylar is a good name.”

Finn beamed. “That's settled then!”

“I guess so.”

Coming over to me, Finn laid a hand on my belly. “Hey there, little Sky,” he whispered.

Since he was so close, I grabbed Finn's arm and held on to it as I heaved myself back on my feet. Immediately, a feeling of light-headedness set in.

“You okay?” Finn put an arm around my shoulders.

“Yeah.” I closed my eyes for a moment and waited for the feeling to pass. “Yeah, I'm fine.” I stepped out of Finn's grip and returned to drawing. For now, I was okay, but it was moments like this that reminded me we still had a ways to go to reach our happy ending.
