“It really is, Molly, thanks,” I add, as the others offer their thanks.

Kean opens the box for Lyric; his box is the same, but I notice everything in there is for protection, as is River’s.

We all stand up and hug, and thank each other. Lyric wanted in on the hugs, so Kean takes him out of his high chair, and he happily goes to everyone for hugs.

“If you need any more bags to carry your goodies home, let me know,” Emily says.

I’m stunned by how generous everyone has been. I think this is the first time I’ve ever had an Easter Egg, and now I have so many. I look at Cassie and Temp, and they look just as stunned. Mind you, apart from the Stones, Turnballs and Molly, we all looked stunned.

Best Easter ever.

CHAPTER 34

Iwake up the next morning to the feel of Kean kissing me awake. I groan. “Best way to wake up.”

Kean grins. “It’s our wedding day, there was no way I wasn’t kissing you awake this morning.”

I touch his cheek. “As much as I want to see where this goes, the boys will be waking up soon.”

Kean rubs his nose against mine. “I got up to see to River, and Mum shooed me out of the bedroom, saying she would look after him this morning.”

“That was nice of her, but how about Lyric?”

“I was just finishing changing his nappy when Temp walked in and said he’d look after Lyric for a few hours.”

I look at him in shock. “And Lyric was okay with that?”

“Temp bribed him with food. He had to see you before he went with Temp, so he saw you from the doorway, and then Temp took him off.”

I give a big smile and move both arms to wrap them around Kean’s neck. “In that case, my soon-to-be husband, how about you make love to me?”

Kean grins back, his blue eyes shining with happiness. “You have the best ideas,” he dips his head and kisses me, before getting down to the serious business of making love to me.

We’re just aboutto get up when there is a thump on the bedroom door.

“Clean, Tus nack,” Lyric calls out, to more door thumping.

I quickly magic us some sleepwear, and Kean goes to open the door.

“Clean,” Lyric says, happily wrapping his arms around Kean’s legs.

“Hey, little man,” Kean says, stroking his head.

Cassie is stood behind Lyric, holding a tray of food. “Breakfast in bed for you both,” he hands the tray over to Kean.

“Oh wow, thanks, Cass,” I say, walking to the door.

“Tus,” Lyric says happily, moving to hug my legs.

“Hey, little man.” I bend down to pick him up and drop a kiss on his head.

“Enjoy your breakfast and see you at ten forty-five by the front door,” and after throwing us a grin, he walks away.

Kean kicks the door closed and carries the tray to our bed, as I sit down and get comfy, Lyric sitting happily on my lap.

“Did you have fun with Uncle Temp?” I ask.

Lyric nods. “Miss oou and Clean.”
