“What a difference a week makes,” Loki says scrolling through his iPad.
“I know, right? Last week, I was still the brunt of late-night TV jokes and now I’ve regained my status as Hollywood’s princess,” I grin wide.
Life is good.
“I can’t believe it’s over.”
“Thank God!”
“One month of our lives we’ll never get back… at least we’re in paradise… and we’re together,” he smiles at me.
I smile back.
“Yeah. Soon, we’ll have to leave this place.”
“Do you have mixed feelings?” Loki asks.
“In a strange way, I do.”I won’t be with you all the time like this. I’ll miss that.
It’s lunchtime. Loki and I are sitting on the upper deck overlooking the Pacific Ocean after enjoying another amazing meal Mrs. Simmons prepared. We’re still living at Larkin’s Balboa Island house. We’ll be here for another week until the media frenzy dies down. Falcon Crest insisted we stay put. Honestly, this is such an incredible place, and now that this ordeal is behind me, I don’t mind. Neither does my boyfriend.
“These headlines tell a very different story from the ones that started all this,” Loki says, returning his attention to his iPad.
“Amen!” I say.
“The SWAT team went at it with all guns blazing this time,” he chuckles.
“Finally, I can show my face in public again.”

Denver has a very long list of enemies—stars, athletes, TV presenters and super rich socialites. The backlash was immediate. Denver is really good at bashing people. Hopefully she has a kick ass lawyer on retainer. God knows she’ll need one. After what I went through, many of the people she’s targeted publicly on her vile blog are retaliating.
