“What do you want to do now?” Iris asked.
“Ooh, we could plan for the Halloween party,” Lana suggested. “Maybe make some decorations.”
“That sounds great!” Cami told them. “Where do you want to do?—”
Before she could finish the question, she felt her right foot roll beneath her, sending her tumbling forward. She braced herself, fully expecting to smack onto the floor, but before she could, hewas there.
Isaiah had her in his arms.
“You okay, honey?”
She barely heard the question. All she could think of was the hard, muscle-packed body that she was now pressed against. His giant arms held her tight. At that moment, she knew nothing could get to her. Nothing could hurt her.
All was right in Daddy’s arms.
“I’m fine,” she said. “Thank you for… saving me.”
“Oh, you wouldn’t have been too hurt, honey. But I’m glad I was close by.”
She laughed. “And I’m glad you were able to support me. Thankfully you’re strong. You can even handle the fat girl falling against you.”
And just like that, it seemed as if all the oxygen was sucked out of the room.
“What did she just say?” The question came from Jack, who had moved away from the pool table, resting his cue on the floor and leaning on it as he peered at her.
Next, her eyes darted to Ace. Standing near the bar, he looked just as stern. “Do I need to go get the paddle right now, Isaiah, or you want to just use your hand?’
Cami gulped. “W-what did I do?”
Isaiah gently guided her to the couch and sat her down. Standing over her, he towered, a strict expression on his face letting her know she’d crossed some line.
“We have a rule in this house, little girl,” he explained. “Care to enlighten her, girls?”
Though he never took his eyes off her, it was clear he was actually talking to Iris and Lana.
“We don’t say mean things about ourselves,” the two Littles replied in unison.
“That’s right,” Isaiah said, his eyes still boring into Cami. “That kind of talk won’t be tolerated. Now, you’re new here, little girl, so I reckon I won’t pull your diaper down and spank your bottom this time. But this is your last warning. I’ve already gotten onto you about this, back at the diner this morning. I won’t tolerate it any longer. Hold on. Stay right there.”
Cami’s heart raced as she watched Isaiah leave the room.
Crap! Had he changed his mind? Was he not going to give her another chance, after all?
That fear only increased when he returned with a paddle.
“Take this. Hold it,” he commanded.
Her hands were shaking as she reached out and did as Isaiah had told her. The wood felt harsh and heavy in her hands.
But also… oddly comforting. She didn’t quite understand why.
Then it hit her: this is what it felt like to have a Daddy who cared enough about her to discipline her. A Daddy who’d protect her, even from herself.
It was wonderful. But also scary. Could she take a spanking? It would hurt so bad! That paddle weighed so much.
“How do you think that would feel, crashing into your cute little bottom?”
“There’s nothing little about my bottom,” she said. The words came out before she could even stop them. It was just reflex. She spent so much time thinking about her weight and about how much prettier and skinnier other women were that it was just second nature at this point.
