I think Flame might have been right about our mole.

“Well, he's mom's boyfriend's brother. He's a horrible man; he used to sit there while she beat me and laugh. She even let him dish out punishment sometimes. He used to really enjoy it when he got to do that.”Cam informs us.

Oh, fuck, I feel sick. How did we not know about Snake's brother, and did Snake know all along that Cam was my son? I'm only going to get those answers when we deal with Snake.

“I didn't know that, Cam; he's been a member since before I was President. About ten years, I think. We've never met his family, and I don't think any of us were even aware he had a brother. He’ll pay for ever putting a finger on you. I promise you that.”I calmly tell my son, but inside I'm seething.

"Oh, okay. I just really wasn't expecting to see him here. I was just sitting there observing everyone when he came over, andI just froze. It was like I was back at my mom's place, and I couldn't do anything to defend myself. I've overheard lots of things that have been said between him, my mom, and her boyfriend that I think you should probably know. Can I make you a list?”Cam asks, looking hopeful.

God, he's been here a day, and he's already acting like a part of Devil's Inferno.

"Sure, if that's what you want to do. Any information you can give us will be helpful,”I say with a small smile.“Why don't you pop upstairs and check out your room? It's the first door on the right.”

Jumping up way quicker than you'd expect with his injuries, he takes off upstairs. Nearly jumping up and down with excitement to see his new room. I hope he likes it. I know it's going to need redecorating to make it his own, but still, it's his now.

Looking at Flame I just shake my head. It seems we have our mole. Luckily, we've never really trusted Snake; we've always been suspicious of him, but we could never prove anything. He's always just done low-level grunt work. It seems we were right not to trust him. Grabbing my phone, I send a text to all the Officers to get to my house ASAP. They need to know what's happened and what we've found out from Cam.

“I'll go put coffee on.”Flame says as he stands.

This is one of the things I love so much about him. I don't have to say a word, he knows what I've done and what we're going to need, and yeah, with us all going to be here, we are definitely going to need coffee.

Five minutes later, my house is nearly full. Eagle and Piston are sitting on the sofa. Ink and Rock are grabbing coffee in the kitchen. The only two missing are Shadow and Blade. Shadow's just texted me; they’re together and on their way over now; they just had to finish up what they were doing.

Looking around, I can't help but smile. These guys aren't just the Devil's Inferno Ranking Officers; they're some of my closest friends. Actually, they're more like family.

“You going to fill us in on why we're here? We've got Church tonight after all.”Ink says as he walks into the living room.

“I'll tell you once everyone is here,”I answer.

The front door slams open, and Shadow and Blade file into the room, plopping themselves down on the empty sofa.

“Right, now that you're all here, I'll explain what the fuck is going on.”I start.“So I don't know how much you've all heard, but yesterday Flame found a young boy—well, he's closer to a teenager than a boy—beaten at the gate trying to get in because he thought his father was here. It turns out he was right. His father was here; he's my son."

I stop talking to let them absorb what I've just said. Most of them look shocked. The ones who don't already know about Cam do anyway.

“I'm sure you can all guess who his mother is from his age. You know the story. It turns out his mother has been beating him for years because he looks like me, and she hates him for it. Doc has checked him out, and he'll be okay, thankfully, but this morning, after breakfast, he was attacked by a member of the fucking club while me and Flame had left the room. It was Snake, and he's got to be our mole; he’s the brother of Claire’s current boyfriend.”

The room erupts with shouts of“What the fuck?" “Are you serious?”and “Dead man walking.”

“So what's the plan?”Ink asks.

“Blade and Flame are going to question Snake together after Church. I want answers, and we all know they'll get them. I'm also pretty sure Flame's going to enjoy every second of it after finding out Snake has beaten Cam with Claire's permission multiple times.”

From the corner of my eye, I watch Flame smirk.

“The rest of us are going to keep an eye on the other members just in case he isn’t the only mole. I'm not taking any chances, not now that I have Cam to protect. The only people I completely trust who aren't in the room are Tech, who's already working on finding as much information on Claire as possible, Doc, and Wreck, who we all know unfortunately isn’t here at the moment. Tonight at Church, we need to watch for reactions when Tech gives us any information he's found because it's highly unlikely that Snake's the only rat we've got. He's too low-level to get a decent amount of information for Claire; she's gotta have someone else. Cam's making a list of all the things he can remember that he thinks might be important.”

“Sounds good to me. I'm glad you've got Cam here and safe, Prez.”Eagle states while everyone else nods.

“Right, I'm out of here. As much as I'd love to stay, I've got so much work at the garage right now. I'll be back for Church later."Piston says as he stands and takes his leave.

“I'm out of here too, babe; I'm actually going to go and check The Gym as I didn't get a chance yesterday.”Flame says as he drops a quick kiss on my lips and leaves behind Piston.

The rest of us sit around for a while, finishing our coffees and shooting shit. Trying to take our minds off all the things we have to worry about right now.

Just as we're finishing our coffees, Cam appears in the doorway, looking shy and unsure. I hate that this morning has made him even more wary of people.

“Oh my god, he's your mini-me,”Rock exclaims when he catches sight of Cam, and I can't help but chuckle.
