Moira nodded and let out a breath, “I can’t help it. When I introduced them to Phillip it didn’t go very well. See, they somehow managed to see what I couldn’t. That Phillip wasn’t the good guy he tried to portray to everyone.”

“Baby, I want to meet your folks. I want to meet the two people who brought you into this world. I want to tell them what an amazing woman you are and thank them for it, because of them, I was able to meet you.”

Moira felt her eyes water at his words. Was this really happening? Had she finally met her perfect match that her mom said she would one day? His words dashed any fears she had of him meeting her family. Now, she was looking forward to going home and on Sunday she would happily tell her family about Cord. Then somehow, they would work out a way to get together so he could meet at least her parents. Maybe she could take them to New York for the day or even the weekend.

Cord

Cord held Moira to his side as they walked along the stretch of beach between their condos. After lunch, they went back to her place. He had made love to her in the shower then they curled up in each other’s arms for a nap. Moira had surprised him and cooked a delicious dinner for them. As Cord had watched her cook, his heart fell even more under her spell. She wasn’t just a smart pretty face. Moira Donovan was also one hell of a cook to boot. Since she had cooked, Cord had volunteered to do the dishes. Now, they were enjoying a moonlit walk. The soft lull of the water washing up over the sand and the floral scented breeze was the perfect backdrop.

“Moira, how about you come out to see me when my mom is in town? I mean, we’re both going to tell them about us this weekend, right?” Cord suggested.

Moria stopped and faced him, “You mean it?”

“Hell, yeah I do. You could even bring your parents if you want. I mean if they can. You said your dad was a cop and your mom is a nurse. What do you say?” he nodded, wrapping his arms around her pulling her flush against him.

“I say, after I talk to them on Sunday, I’ll let you know. If they can’t make it, I’ll still go. I love you Cord.” She smiled.

Cord leaned down and kissed her. When he felt her body surrendering more into him, he slid his hands down and cupped her ass. He hoisted her up in his arms and moaned when her legs wrapped around his waist. His erection throbbed against her. Moira whimpered and began moving against him. Christ, he wanted this woman. Wanted to be buried inside her. He pulled away from her lips and looked around. He found they were right in front of his condo.

“I want you Moira. Fuck, I want you right now.” He growled, moving toward his patio door.

“I want you too Cord. Please.” She gasped, moving her lips against his neck.

Cord stumbled a little as her tongue started gliding along the pounding pulse point of his throat. Fumbling with his key, he managed to unlock the door and moved inside, barely managing to kick the door closed. His fingers tangled in Moira’s hair, dragging her head back and capturing her lips once more. He navigated the dark condo and in moments they were in the bedroom. Deciding against turning on the light, Cord walked to the bed and lay her on it. The full moon shown through the windows, the moonbeams illuminating Moira.

“Moira…I want you naked. Right fucking now.” Cord hissed, yanking off his shirt.

Moira smiled sitting up. As Cord stripped, he watched his woman strip for him. First to go was her purple halter top. The soft moonlight shimmered on the pale skin of her breasts. God, he loved her tits. Her hardening nipples a soft rosy color and just begging for his mouth. He stepped out of his shorts and boxers as Moira lay back, lifting her hips and shoving down her own shorts. Cord cursed when he saw she had been completely commando.

“God almighty, you were cooking dinner with nothing on but your shorts and shirt?” he groaned, kneeling on the bed.

“Aye I was.” She smirked.

Cord moved over her. He gripped her calves and locking her legs around him. “Damn, you’re wet.”

“All it seems to take is one kiss and that look in your eyes and I’m wet for you Cord.” She sighed, her back bowing.

Elevating her hips, Cord eased himself inside her. Moira gasped his name and Cord could only moan. Cord set a slow pace. When he brought her inside, he had been wild, but now that they were naked and he was inside her, he wanted to take his time. After tonight, they only had two more days together. They were going back home on Friday, sadly on separate flights. She was leaving at nine in the morning and he wasn’t flying out till eleven. He wanted to make their last days count.

“You feel so good Moira. Like you’re made for me.”

“Aye, you fit me perfectly.”

Cord shifted their positions and blanketed her body with his. Every thrust was met with her body arching and welcoming him deeper each time. Her legs anchoring their hips together, her nails slowly and sensually scraping along his back and shoulders. No woman had ever made him feel like this. Wild and centered, blind with need and yet able to see more clearly than ever. It was perfect. Moira Donovan was perfect. And she was his.

Chapter 12

Moira

Moira exited the plane and found her mom and dad waiting for her. She hurried over and was swept up in a double hug from them. “Hi ma, hi da.”

“Oh welcome home m'iníon.” Kiernan said.

“You look like you had a good trip.” Maureen added.

“I did. It was so beautiful there. You two should go after you retire.” Moira grinned.

With her in-between her parents and her arms around their waists, the three moved from the gate toward baggage claim. After collecting her bags, they walked out to her parent’s car. On the drive to Moira’s house from Reagan National, Moira told them about her trip to St. Lucia. Excluding Cord, but only slightly. She did tell them she met someone, but not that she and Cord were a couple. She would drop that bombshell on Sunday when Sean and Laura would be there. Her thought was, if she was going to tell her parents she might as well tell the rest of the family.
