Probably.
But y’know what’s even crazier?
I felt the same exact way. Hell, this whole thing between us, whatever it was, started happening the moment we met. Thetrulycrazy thing would’ve been to try to fight this off and deprive ourselves of something real.
Gently stroking her cheek with my thumb, I stared deeper than her eyes, looking into her soul.
“I love you, too,” I whispered back.
A funny thing happened when I spoke those words for the very first time. Ifeltmy heart open. It kicked into life with a sudden jolt, like some ancient gears that had rusted shut long ago. Turning and throbbing, a fuzzy energy filled my heart, healing it—healingme.
Damn, is this what love feels like?
Soon, that tingly warmth pumped through my entire body. It cleansed and purified my soul and I knew, without a doubt, that only death could do us part.
Sounds crazy, maybe, but it was as real as anything I’ve ever felt in my life.
I wrapped my arms around her and pulled her close.
“You’re mine forever,” I told her again.
We kissed long and deep. Her lips, so juicy and plump, yielded to mine. We traded tongues and I got hard in a hurry—but this wasn’t so much about sex as it was something else.
It was Katerina who reached for the condom and rolled it down my length. She climbed on top of me, my last load still drizzled across her abdomen.
“This time,” she said with mischief in her eyes, “I get to be on top.”
I smiled. “Ride me, baby.”
She angled me against her slit and sat back. Fireworks exploded in my eyes as my tip plunged into her sweltering ring of tightness. Slowly, she leaned all the way back, taking all of me in, making us both gasp and moan with pleasure.
“Yeah, baby,” I growled.
We made love through the night, until we were simply too tired to continue. I passed out with my arm snuggly wrapped around her body.

I woke up in a panic, sensing something was wrong. Even though the window blinds were closed, I could see that the sun was too bright, its angle too high. Which could mean only one thing.
“Shit,” I muttered, kicking the bedsheets off my body and jumping out of bed. I scrambled to find my boxers.
Katerina stirred, waking with a sleepy purr. “What’s wrong?” she asked.
“I overslept,” I said, pulling up my boxers and quickly jumping into my pants.
“Do you have to be somewhere?” she asked.
“Yep. Ten AM practice.”
She sat up, covering her bare breasts with the bedsheets, and glanced at the alarm clock. It was nine fifteen, but I still had to get to the arena with enough time to gear up.
“Oh no!” She frowned. “Are you going to be in trouble?”
“Maybe,” I said, fastening my belt and throwing on my shirt. “Maybe not if I hurry.”
“Sorry,” she muttered, looking guilty.
“Don’t worry.” I sat on the bed and quelled her worries with a kiss. “I wouldn’t trade last night for the world.”
