Riyah:
Oh bitch. She's got her a man now and don't know how to text back.
I frowned at the text and strolled up to see that she had texted about an hour ago.
Jay:
Right! I am still waiting for her to call me back.
I smiled and texted them back.
Me:
I'm sorry, ladies. I'll do better. I'm with him and his daughter now. I'll call y'all later to tell y'all about it.
I had to make sure I returned their calls when I had the time. They had me feeling bad for not reaching out to them when A'Mylo and I spent time together. One thing I had to do was make time to spend with my girls, too.
Later that night, I was in A'Mylo's kitchen doing a puzzle with Nini while he cooked us a Chipotle dish. I couldn't wait to try it out. He had the kitchen smelling good with the different aromas in the air.
Nini playfully slapped her cheeks. "This puzzle will take forever."
I chuckled. "It was your idea to do it."
We were working on a sixty-four-piece puzzle featuring a Minnie Mouse theme that Nini had brought from home.
"I know," she whined, causing me to laugh at her. Nini was dramatic.
"I'm sure you did this puzzle before, right?" I asked.
She pouted with a shake of her head. "No, ma'am. I love doing puzzles, but I haven't done this one yet."
"Don't worry, I'll help you out. Let's get to it."
Nini pumped her fists in the air. She acted so much like A'Mylo, making me wonder if she was as demanding as he was.
"The food should be ready soon," A'Mylo called out.
Nini and I turned in his direction. "Okay."
He gazed at both of us and smiled. I wondered what was running through his mind right now.
Ten minutes later, we were at the kitchen table with our heads bowed while A'Mylo blessed the food. My mouth watered to taste it. It had looked so yummy.
"Amen," we recited in unison.
We dug into our meal, and Nini moaned in delight with her eyes closed. A'Mylo and I burst out laughing.
"Is it good, Nini?" he asked her.
She nodded. "So good."
I chuckled and went back to my food. The rice and steak were delicious together. Mylo needed to cook this for me all the time.
He turned his attention to me. "What about you? Is it good to you, too?" He had a look in his eyes that had me clenching my thighs together. He was lucky his daughter was at the table.
"Yes. It's amazing."
"Daddy, Lee and I finished the puzzle. She did most of the work, though," Nini mentioned to A'Mylo.
