We spend the next two hours going over the best tactical moves to get in and get the two people who mean the most to me back. With the real plan finalized, we call in the rest of the men. Once everyone is ready, we load up everything we need and put one of the prospects in the van with Med, just in case we need to work on anyone right then and there.

Vixen
Iam so fucking tired of waiting. Moose swore the guys wouldn’t be much longer, but this feels like complete insanity. I now know how people in the padded rooms feel. What really strikes me as odd is that Fire hasn’t been back since the first time, I saw him.
Also, I still don’t know why Moose is here and not dead or why Fire answered to him. None of this makes any sense. That man better know that I will not let him leave without talking to me about it.
I place my hand on my belly and talk to the only other person in the room. “Hey, noodle! How are things in there? Are you having fun? I am so fucking bored. Oops, maybe I shouldn’t say that to you, but who the fuck cares? You know, in just a couple weeks, I’ll know if you are a baby girl or boy.”
Moose’s voice makes me jump, “Be ready!”
“Fuck, Moose, how do you move like a damn ninja?” I ask him. He just smirks and shrugs his shoulders.
“What am I supposed to be ready for?”
“Just be ready. You’ll know what to do when it’s time.”
“I’ll be ready. Always am!” I sass back. He just raises one eyebrow and turns to go back out the door.
I sit up and swing my legs over the side of the bed to wait. I don’t know what the hell I’m waiting for, but it’s maybe five minutes, and I hear a rapid popping in the distance. Pulling the door open just a little, the sound gets louder and more intense. I decide to make a break for the door at the other end of the basement. I don’t know who the fuck is out there; I just hope they are better people than what I’m currently dealing with. A light at the stairs comes on, and I watch as Fire comes running down them.
“How the fuck did they find us? I don’t fucking understand. We did everything fucking right,” he yells at the men following him.
“Beats the shit out of me, Boss. We’ve got to get out of here,” the guys say.
“I have to grab Vixen, and we’ll go,” Fire replies as he turns toward me.
“Pres, just fucking leave her, man. Is she really worth all this fucking trouble?” one of the guys asks, and I know that that was a huge mistake.
Fire turns with a gun pointed at his head, “Yes, you dumb fuck, she’s worth it. That’s premium pussy. She and that bitch cousin of hers leaving is what has caused all our fucking problems. Having just one of them back will fix so many things,” Fire says as he pulls the trigger and kills the guy. He hits the dirty floor with a thud just as Ice comes down the stairs.
“Fuck! Fire, can you stop shooting the men? We are down to fucking nothing at this point,” he yells, pointing at the dead man.
“He wanted to run his fucking mouth. So, I had to make sure that he knew that was not okay,” Fire retorts, sniffing and wiping blood out from under his nose.
“Well, now it doesn’t fucking matter what he knows or wants to say since he’s fucking dead. Now go get that fucking woman so we can get the fuck out of this shithole,” Ice says, looking like he’s ready to come unglued. Most of all, he looks way the fuck over it all.
This isn’t the first time Fire’s done something like this. Yet, for some reason, this is the first time I have struggled with the fact that that kid was somebody’s child. I mean, damn, he couldn’t have been more than eighteen. Is some poor woman waiting on their baby to come home? Fuck this asshole and his cruel way of dealing with people.
The pop-pop-pop of gunfire gets Fire moving and breaks me out of my head. I take a couple of steps back, not realizing I’m backing into a corner. If they get me out of this room before Torch and the guys can make it in, I’m dead.
“Are you fuckers coming, or am I leaving without you no good assholes?” Moose asks as he comes down the stairs.
“We’re fucking coming. Just got to get our little bargaining chip here,” Ice says as Fire grabs my arm and pulls me into himself.
It takes everything I have not to throw up all over him. He smells like he hasn’t showered in days, possibly weeks, and has been rolling around in hog shit. Granted, I don’t know what that particular smell is like, but I imagine it smells like Fire does. I swallow hard, closing my eyes and praying.
“What the fuck? Vixen, you’ve fucking gotten fat. You’ll have to lose the fucking weight if you want to be my queen again,” Fire says with such disgust you would think I was the one who rolled in pig shit. I pull back, glaring at him, and take a deep breath without thinking. That was a big mistake—I lose what little I’ve had to eat in the last few days all over Fire.
“You stupid whore. I can’t believe you fucking just did that! When we get to the new clubhouse, I’m going to beat your ass,” Fire hisses before backhanding me so hard, I fall to the floor.
“Fire, are you fucking joking right now? Get it together so we can get the fuck out of here,” Moose yells, now standing at the bottom of the stairs.
I glare at him from my place on the floor, not believing this. One minute he’s a friend, the next he’s fucking helping them. Fuck him, I’ll get myself out of this.
“Fire, baby! I’m just so scared with all the gunfire and being tied up… My stomach just couldn’t hold the food you gave me anymore. Please forgive me,” I say, the words tasting like ash.
