He groaned low in his throat as she played with his tongue and no matter how tightly he held her, her tiny body moved on his.
It made his eyes want to cross with how good it felt having her move her heat over his hardness and he gave up holding onto her hips.
Moving his hand up her side, he cupped her round breast in his hand, and she arched into his hand as he ran his thumb over her nipple.
He needed to change their position. Needing her under him.
He went to roll them over but ended up rolling off her couch and hitting the floor.
He let out a grunt as he fell on top of her. She let out a breath and he put his head down on her chest, and then he rolled off her.
“That was not supposed to happen.” He said and she silently laughed.
Rolling over her, he touched her head and ran his hand over her body. She let out soft breaths as he did so.
“Are you all right?” he asked, and she nodded, he kissed her softly and felt his phone vibrate in his pocket.
He pulled it out and when he saw who was texting him, he sat up.
She sat up next to him and he looked over, “My deputy Jake just texted. There is a problem. I have to go. I'm sorry Sienna.”
She bit her lip and looked up at him. He pulled her lip free and kissed her softly.
“Are you free tomorrow?”
She nodded and he kissed her again. “Can I come see you tomorrow night?”
She nodded again and he stood, then helped her to stand as well.
“Lock everything behind me and take care of yourself, please.”
She nodded again, and he held her face in his hands. “I mean it Sienna. Don’t take any chances. After hearing your story, I need you to be safe. Please.”
She leaned in and kissed him, then crossed her finger over her heart.
He smirked at her. And then with one last kiss, he turned and walked out of her house, listening for her to lock the door.
Which she did, moments later.
Damn it, he hated this. But it must have been important if Jake texted him.
He never needed help before. The man was capable and could handle the small town on his own.
But his text said it was urgent. So, taking a breath, he got in his cruiser, started it and backed out her driveway.
He needed to do this, so that tomorrow he could claim her as he wished.
When he made it to the station, he ran inside and found Jake at the desk, pacing back and forth.
“What took you so long? I told you it was urgent.” Jake snarled at him and Brek raised one of his eyebrows.
“I was just telling my girl goodbye. I wasn’t expecting to come to the station tonight. What happened?”
Jake’s face was angry and he was breathing hard, Brek had a feeling that Jake wasn’t just upset with him because it took him a few moments longer to get here than necessary and he made a mental note to look into it.
Jake looked at him, “I got a call. From Polly. The man broke into her house and ripped it apart. She needs us to go check it out.”
Brek raised his eyebrow but nodded for Jake to go first out of the station.
