I put a hand on his shoulder. “You have all of her. I see the way she looks at you.”

“What about the way she looks at you?”

I drop my hand, stiffening. “I don’t know what you’re talking about.”

Dominic scoffs. “You can’t possibly not know she has feelings for you.”

My heart soars, but I try to ignore it.

There’s been this line I thought I wouldn’t cross, this feeling I thought I wouldn’t have.

It’s getting harder and harder to ignore it.

I clear my throat. “This isn’t about me. This is about you and Olivia, and you need to sit down and talk to her.”

“I will, when this leak is taken care of.”

“In the meantime, will you cool off out here? I’ll go check on the lovebirds.”

He barks out a bitter laugh and nods.

I huff out a breath and walk back to the bedroom.

Olivia is on her back, panting, while Dominic sits up, both of them now covered with the blanket.

“Everything okay?” Olivia asks, still breathless.

I smirk. “Dominic is just having a mental breakdown. Must be Tuesday.”

Olivia sits up straight, but I walk up to her and put a hand on her shoulder to stop her.

“He just needs some time to think.”

“He didn’t leave, did he?” She bites her lip.

I shake my head. “No, he’s out on the balcony. Don’t worry so much.”

She plops back down in bed. “I can’t help it. He’s struggling, and I’m just here getting railed.”

I laugh, surprised at her vulgarity, and sit down on the edge of the bed, pushing her dark hair back from her face.

“It’s okay. He’ll be fine, it’s just a jealous streak. We’ve all had them.”

She tilts her head. “Even you?”

“You should have seen me in my twenties. Sophie was always a flirt, and it drove mecrazy.”

Olivia gives me a big smile. “You light up when you talk about her, you know?”

It makes my cheeks hot, and I turn away.

Damien clears his throat.

I forgot he was even here. That’s what being around Olivia does to me.

“I guess I should check in at work.” He gets out of bed and grabs his phone from the nightstand.

“Wait, you don’t have to go,” Olivia whines, and Damien smiles at her, ruffling her hair.
